BBBUUUUUULLLLLLLLSSHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!
I either need to go back to 1st grade math class or this is some grade-A bullshit. How the fuck did Bradley win over Pacquiao?! You don't even need to take a look at the numbers to say that PacMan won by a motherfucking landslide! But in case you feel like it, take a look at these digits.

I don't give two shits about boxing, but I did go out with some friends to watch the fight. I do agree that the split decision was absolute bullshit. Money corrupts everything.

I don't even watch boxing, but all this rage is entertainment itself.

The outrage is justified. Time and time, people have already said boxing is the new WWE. No one paid attention or at least believed it would never rear its head in such a blunt way in a match like this, but it did. WBO treated every boxing fan in the world -- even those who were rooting for Tim Bradley -- as if they were blind and stupid.
Unless WBO regulations count running away, dodging, and hugging as points, then I see no reason to give Bradley a win. Even if Pacquiao won by split decision, it would still stir some controversy but a win for Bradley?! Come on...
Oh well...at least I don't have to pay $70 for pay-per-view anymore. WBO's integrity has truly gone down the drain on this one so I'm not even gonna bother watching the rematch since the decision isn't even worth shit now.

How did Pac lose if he got all of the rounds on that score card you posted? (Don't know anything about boxing and didn't see the match)

Re: BBBUUUUUULLLLLLLLSSHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!
Judges split decision is the deciding factor. 1 for Pacquiao, 2 for Bradley. Apparently they hire blind judges now. If you ask me how they came to that conclusion, go ask them because I have no fucking idea...
EVERYONE thought PacMan won; even Bradley himself told the promoter before they announced the decision that he "tried but could not beat [Manny Pacquiao]."

Re: BBBUUUUUULLLLLLLLSSHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!
Those blind fucks probably counted even Bradley's blocked punches. People were already worried before the match that they let some questionable amateur judge like CJ Ross into this. Professional boxing is dead..it's hilarious how Bradley gladly accepted the bogus decision even though he knew he lost the fight..hell, he even said in the post-match interview with Max that he "has to watch the tape again to know if [he] really won."

Re: BBBUUUUUULLLLLLLLSSHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!
Pac's split-decision wins were all close matches and I wouldn't be surprised if those went either way (talking about Marquez 1 and 3). This was nowhere near those fights. I stopped watching wrestling when I was in grade school after I realized it's all fake.. I don't see any difference between that and boxing anymore. Give it a few more years and we're going to start seeing a horde of clowning bad actors in the WBO ring.

Boxing has always been a JOKE! No?inky wrote:Give it a few more years and we're going to start seeing a horde of clowning bad actors in the WBO ring.
But seriously, what's so enjoyable to "punching each other in the face?"

The skill, the speed, the reflexes, the anticipation, the mental preparation, etc. The list goes on.

On a side note...how does wrestling continue to survive alongside ultimate fighter? People actually still love the scripted circus act that is wrestling?

Re: BBBUUUUUULLLLLLLLSSHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!
people know wwe is scripted.. the problem with ufc is its not well advertised, events arent that large and people dont seem to be intrested...
why does boxing get huge hypes and advertising and ufc just has a poster or two... at least in the uk thats the case.
also... ufc is at a bad time for me to watch it... and i dont know any sites in which i can watch replays of it

Re: BBBUUUUUULLLLLLLLSSHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!
General rule of fighting (at least not in a controlled environment like Boxing) is that all of them end up on the ground; people don't seem to enjoy watching 2 men grappling each other on the floor as much as they love the thrill of the constant exchange of punches. Sure there are a lot of fights in UFC where the combatants actually do exchange brutal poundings, and kicks, and whatnot but the majority of them is all about locking the other guy into submission.

UFC is HUGE in North America afaik, but boxing is recognized around the world.

Sadly it is. All the bros like to watch it and get drunk around here.
I could never get into it. Like penfold said, it just turns into two guys rolling around on the ground trying to submit the other. Not my style.

Why so surprised? Isn't boxing historically one of the most corrupt sports?

Re: BBBUUUUUULLLLLLLLSSHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!
I'm guessing the call was made due to the gambling ring for that match. TBH there is no way a champ goes to the after-fight conference in a wheelchair and the loser walks in still ready for another fight.

Re: BBBUUUUUULLLLLLLLSSHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!
what's done is done. WBO said(after investigation) that Pacman really won, but they don't have the power to reverse the decision.
Pac also said in his interview that he, appreciate that WBO recognized his win, he said that he will not take back the title even if Bradley returns it to him (it would be better to leave the title vacant) he said.
I admire how humble pacman is. You can't find many people in the fighting sports as humble as pacquiao.

I dont know that I would call that humble; more of a "i dont want a title that has now been rendered meaningless."
