Essentially Revenge on proc, save Overpower for a quick oh shit heal, and keep adds CCed with Ground Stomp. Aim for high resist with Impunity, etc.

In Act 1 Inferno it seems viable. The self healing keeps me alive through most and the Ground Stomp lets me kite a little better.

For Act 3/4 with a group, do you think it will still be viable or should I be switching to more damage reduction/mitigation

In all honesty, i'm as geared as you can be without buying gold or farming incessantly: i'm barely on the cusp of the beginning of act 3 with mitigation skills. I can solo act 2 in its entirety while blindfolded.

With the new patch, extra damage from having extra people join will no longer occur - it will make inferno a lot easier for barbs and mean that most of us will change to pure tanking.

Overpower isn't that great - it's a heal on a 15 second cool down. If you need an oh shit button, swap it to furious charge (10 second cooldown) with the 9% life per mob hit. It lets you not only heal, but get the **** out of cluster fucks.

Revenge, war cry, and frenzy are staples that you will always keep unless the skills get changed a lot. With 4/6 skills taken, it leaves us with 2 more slots.

I use WOTB when soloing as well, because deeps. But when grouping becomes viable, I would suggest swapping to leap with the % armor boost. Just to give you an idea, this is my armor after using it. It practically makes us invulnerable (keep in mind this applies to ALL damage and does not taken into account your resistances or -% damage gear). In fact, because my weapon is nearly 1k life on hit, I prefer leap to charge because I can gain the life back during the armor buff. With it's low cool down, unless you're using a 2H DPS build, leap mitigates more damage and is more useful than ignore pain.



The stomp is great before inferno, but in inferno I find it really bad. The hard part about inferno is the champions, elites, and bosses - not the white mobs. The stun doesn't do much against those types of mobs, the effectiveness of stun is reduced in inferno. Consider swapping it with threatening shout with demoralize rune. The rune forces all mobs to come up and melee you (on top of 20% less damage from the shout itself). This is great for grouping and against the mobs in inferno that you normally want to down first. Or, if you opted for leap, in this slot you could take ignore pain. The heal rune on ignore pain sounds great, but it only really works if you have high dps. Otherwise, I would take duration.

Last note: take sidearm with frenzy. 25% chance to do 110% more weapon damage is like having a passive 27.5% buff to weapon damage that has a chance to do a guided piercing AoE attack.

Because I haven't posted them in a while, here are my stats. I have a string of ears but the melee damage isn't what bothers me anymore, it's the magical damage. I opted for an all res belt (131 str, 72 vit, 67 all res).



My next step is to upgrade gloves (i'm using godly wiz gloves: int, vit, perfect 17% increased attack speed, 8% crit chance, 52 all res) to barb gloves, boots with higher all res and move speed (122 str, 78 vit, 47 all res), and find similar gear that I have now but with life regen.

It would be A LOT easier if you got your DH to 60 and used him to farm for your barb (or monk).

Barb is most gear dependent class. Expect to drop 500k-2mil per armor piece to be decent at farming.

Well it's tough to find legitimate sources and information, but it seems there's no need to worry about NA servers for now. There were some screenshots of trillions of gold (could be photoshopped) but who knows.

There's alot of controversy over an alleged AH glitch that allowed people to duplicate gold to huge numbers. I made this topic to prevent people from dangerously group-thinking. I want people to form their own opinion. I am not trying to take anyone's side

Here's some things you should know:

Kripp, a streamer claims a friend of his (Krippi) loses 4 million gold to an AH glitch. There is NO video evidence (from what I've found) of an actual glitch. Kripp himself has not actual performed the glitch live. The forums are in an absolute uproar about this.

Bashiok has addressed the community staying there was no hotfix to fix this. They are investigating. link Many players however have stated that there has been a general chat hotfix tonight allowing the game to remember, between logins, that you've left general chat. i.e. you will not be put back into general chat after leaving it.

The Auction House has had some weird items for extremely high prices. Some people cite this as evidence for gold duplication.

Here is one supposed method of how the item duplication worked:

Bid 200k (random value) on item A.
Roll your clock back.
Your gold resets to what it was.
Bid stays.
You outbid yourself on item A.
You receive your 200k gold from getting outbid.
You now made 200k gold out of nowhere.

Three theories as to what happened/is happening:

Kripp creates controversy to gain streamers and ad revenue.

Trolls.

Blizzard has actually messed up and is doing damage control.

The photo with 100+ billion gold is believed to be photoshop. I believe it was meant as a joke in response to the photo of 4 billion gold. however people are now using this incorrectly as evidence. http://i.imgur.com/gucjP.jpg

There IS video of item duplication as well as an inordinate amount of gold on Asian Servers. They were not rolled back, they were put into (What looks like) emergency maintenance I assume to fix...things. link

Things I think you should keep in mind:

Blizzard can see people's gold. People who've done this will be easy to spot.
Everything upsetting you is on the premise that there IS gold duplication. Wait for proof before your jimmies get rustled.
Blizzard noticed bugs on the Asian servers immediately maintenance'd them. Wouldn't they do the same to us?
Has there ever been a time you've received gold late or had missing gold only to have it return later?
There is something fishy going on and it's too early to pass judgement.

Please share any information you can on this topic as I'm sure we're all dying to know if this is something to be concerned about.
