I'm guessing cuz he stupid and felt compelled to continue aruging and then it escalated and the taxi driver went ape-shit stupid and purposely ran the poor SOB over. It was 100% possible to just drive away without running any of those tools over.
I wouldn't really call that a violent situation. at least not directly for the taxi driver. Maybe I would if the car had feelings. I don't think the guy jumping on the car was the hulk posing a huge threat to the driver. At most the car would be heavily dented.
Ya but 15 people flipping the car over is possible, dont need 15 people either...
gas pedal...
Gas pedal and boom. You still end up running some dumbass over

those kind of clown make me mad
If he lived in Marseilles for those two years he probably picked it up without realising it.
Driving a car over someone in this specific situation is overkill; they weren't flashing weapons or anything. Using a car as a "defense" weapon is above, and beyond reasonable protection.
3 Drunkards hollering and kicking your car isn't "scary" or should throw you into that much of a panic that you feel you should "flee" the scene regardless if someone's in the way or not. He's a cab driver, how many obnoxious drunk people has he possibly come across in his career? Yet, alone supposedly it all started because one of them closed his door "too hard." Stupid actions and reactions on both sides.
We should stop treating people like objects, or at least treat our objects with more respect.
