I've been wanting to try something new but the amount of disinformation on the web really stops me. Basically I don't want anything that can **** anything up permanently. Weed is nice, especially for insomnia, but it's pretty bland/boring unless you get very high which can get costly after a while. Everything else seems too expensive or much more illegal =\

actually acid hits atleast here where i live(north west USA) are only 5 bucks a hit. 2 hits and your hallucinating for about 4-5 hours.. get out of your system faster too. and most jobs/ cops dont test for it since it requires more money and time.

Meh I can get 4g of stuff for $35~ and it can last me a month/month and a half. That's smoking every day too. I'm not wasteful and I can get decently high off a very small amount. I'm thinking about getting a vape to make it even more cost efficient, so 10$ for 4-5 hours isn't incredibly appealing to me. Also I have no idea of the effects of acid and how bad it is for you. Finding out information on this kind of stuff is a massive pain with all the wrong information on the net.

You aren't playing for the amount of time spent hallucinating though, that's the thing. With weed sure, anyone can pay $10 and get shitty shaky weed, but if you pay a little more for top shelf meds, it lasts longer, is cleaner, and is way more enjoyable.

With LSD you really are paying for a powerful hallucinogenic that is worth the $10 for the hit. Also I smoke weed at about the same rate. $45 for an eighth at the local dispensary here and I smoke a small bowl or two per day unless it's a special occasion.

From what I've read and understand about acid is unless you spill an entire vial on yourself, it will stay with you for about 4-5 hours of strong tripping, and then another couple hours of after glow. After that some part of the LSD is stored in your spinal fluid. Because of this, there have been reports that cracking your back can actually release that LSD into your system and you will feel the effects of it. There are also talk about flashbacks. i.e. a tiny amount of that LSD seeps through and you start to feel it again. It's not controllable and can supposedly happen any time, but I haven't had it happen to me yet.

If you would like to try a hallucinogenic but LSD seems a little daunting, I'd suggest shrooms. It's way more mild and the trip is easier to control. It's a lot more in your mind and less visuals so if stuff starts to get too weird you can always talk yourself down.

You should try not to smoke every day. Weed is pretty harmless, but if you do it every day it can really start messing with you. Take a T break (tolerance break) for like 2 weeks every once in a while. It will make your high better and you will need even less weed to get by. Really sticking to the 2 weeks will also reduce your addictive behavior and make it easier to stop when you have to. If you can't make it through the 2 weeks break you should realize you're addicted, which happens way more often than you would think. (I'm not saying you or anyone else is an addict, just advocating safe use because I know first hand weed use can spiral out of control if you do it every day)

I don't smoke it for recreational use as much, it's much more for sleeping/combating insomnia. I've done tolerance breaks and I don't think I'm in any way 'addicted'. Also the amount I do each day is very low, probably 0.05g ~ 0.1g, less if I've been very active all day and am tired (aka don't need aid sleeping). I recently was unable to buy any for about 2 months and didn't find myself suffering any form of mental withdrawal, nor did I have any cravings or anything of that sort.

I also have a potential allergy to certain mushrooms which has been putting me off..

Luckily though it's nothing urgent to me. It's not like I need some drugs now or I'll die or anything, I'm just more interested in the one time experience (provided I suffer no long term damage). Also my..connections are lacking (extremely lacking), so going out and finding things like this presents another road block.

It isn't a drug. It's a decent % alcohol content drink with some sort of energy supplement in it. Essentially drinking an upper and a downer at the same time, which is bad.

I've been more interested in trying shrooms but I'll probably wait quite a while before doing anything more than weed. I like that you're smart about it and not just willing to ingest any substance given to you. That's good. That's the right attitude to have when dealing with psychedelics.

I too found the lack of information online a little unsettling. I had a friend who was way more knowledgeable than me about these substances, and so from the moment I took interest to the moment I did them, he was there to give advice, knowledge, etc so that I stayed safe and sound.

Actually its been proven that it doesnt stay in your spinal fluids/ spinal cord, its a total myth.LSD metabolizes withing hours and is out of your system faster than weed.

I'm of the mindset that I can't have a proper opinion on something until I've tried it. Of course that is within reason; I'm not going to go out and do lines of coke just to try it.

I would like to try absinthe once also. It's up there on my list. Also living in Southern California and going to raves/music festivals, drugs are prevalent everywhere here it seems like.

absinthe is nice, ive never been drunk and ive tried absinthe. its a spirit that id recommend tasting rather then necking it, some spirits taste like shit so its best to neck them (ie. i hate straight vodka) but also try it prepared...

if you have a slotted spoon then use that but otherwise you can use two forks pushed together lol, place a sugar cube on top and drip water onto the sugar cube. the resulting cloudy drink is very fragrant.

i dont believe all this talk of hallucinogenic properties other then drinking alcohol gets you drunk... ive drank absinthe many times and never experienced anything weird lol

Same here. Kinda disappointed actually. It gets you drunk very fast tho and I personally have had the worst memory losses after drinking absinthe.
