If you had a good spot you could stand still, kill one from range, let your monkey loot while you kill the next etc etc. By the time you kill 3 the first one re-spawned and you did it over and over and over. It was slow grinding though, as AoE grinding was the only way to grind effectively in SRO (par that party update they had with the euro expansion). And when a game can require 25+ hours of grinding to get 1 bloody level up, time is everything.

I haven't played in many, many years. I think I quit during the 100 cap, early in the 100 cap. Maybe it was the 90 cap? I can't remember. I played from the 60 cap, around February of 2006. I remember it well as a friend gave me a disc with SRO on it for my birthday and told me to go nuts. Worst gift ever >_>

I didn't have a monkey and was like lvl 32 with NPC gear when grinding there. Then I also didn't know much about builds, gap wasn't 0 either. That's what made it a bit difficult.

Started in 2005. Damn that was 7 years ago.

Started on 60 cap, was a noob so I herp derped my ice hybrid bow char lol.

70 Cap was where I was teh pwn, pure int nuker with SoS +7 sword on Xian.

80 Cap cap came, everyone got to like 80 in a day, raged quit at like lvl 72 or 73? Didn't want to farm another 200k sp and people were going SoSuns, couldn't compete.

About 3 years plus 1 month of SRO-R beta. I don't know how I managed to do it but I made a 95 nuker and a 96 bower on Titan. Of course I used some taxis and premiums. One amazing way to level was to go to medusa uniques twice a day when prem ticket was active. I tried to pick the rooms so that no one else would come to the same room. Solo'ing the black viper took ~1 hour and it gave like 14% exp at lvl 90. It was possible to gain 40% in a day. ^^

Everyone can probably figure out what happened with the bower once I had soloed to lvl 96 and my guild was closing in on lvl 110...*wink wink* Neither of the chars are mine anymore.

I haven't played in close to 4 1/2 years. I don't even remember what level I was when I quit, too absorbed into WoW.
