Can't say this comes as a surprise, every game faces something like this at one stage.

Maple Story hack release by FairLight and me, VAC, spawn hack.
MU account database public release.
R.O.S.E Online stall hack, dupe hack, quest reward loop bug, etc
Lineage II underground training(wallhack), guild hijacking, Boss spawn, enchant bug, etc.

And so on. So don't be ignorant, SR had this coming.

i am not here to defend him by any means, good lord i didnt care for his attitude and the way he was treating people when he reappeared or whatever about a month ago here on srf.

but come on people, even if we can't play due to this.

How long did it actually take joymax to notice and ban the accounts?

I think if Chaud went out with exposing a loophole in the programming it's better than if someone else was doing this in smaller quantities and not being banned for a long time. Many times legit players won't expose the loopholes because they will be banned or it will just go on the long list of things which should be fixed but never actually will be until it is exposed in a detrimental way. I don't quite see why all of you are pissed at Chaud. The problem is being fixed, and it's being fixed quickly unlike all the other things which we complain about. IF joymax handles this correctly, the innocent accounts shouldn't be affected........ I think that is more something to focus our attention on.

Chaud have fun in WOW, but sorry to lose a legit player.

if its true that it's only an in-game exploit than that doesnt make it any different than de-suiting on someones mercs to make them red.
