Confused.

Okay, now I am confused about all this. I did as many of you have told me to, and made a pure STR bowman with Fire. But the outcome was horrible. (at least so far it is, I'm lvl 14) I think I need some more help with this. Maybe I should just give up being a bowman.

Can you guys help me out on becoming a good spearman then? Everyone suggests nukers, but I was thinking of maybe a STR hybrid with Cold? HELP!! :cry:

lol naw, but if youre gonna use a SPEAR be pure int.... spear is for magic attacks....

Dont go Str Hybrid. You will regret it since cant tank for crap in that build.

So what exactly is the problem with you and your bowmen then? we can't help you if we don't know. And as Criterion metioned, isn't it a little early to question your build?

Well, my lvl 15 STR hybrid bowman is already bad enough, hitting only 60's. But my STR pure only hits 40's at level 14! There is only one level difference left, and I was wondering if a bowman will ever do high damage. :cry:

People have told me that level 15 bowmen should hit around 150.

This level 16 person in the game told me that I should use full INT with Cold. That is what she does and she hits perfect 120's on tigers. Oh yeah, and it seems that bowmen always hit a bit weaker each time when fighting stronger monsters...I know that is supposed to be natural, but spearmen seem to do hundreds on all monsters. :banghead:

So...I NEED HELP!

LOL u know that full int/bow/cold lvl 16? Either she'll find she gets owned in combat in later lvls. Pure str fire bow should do enough dmg if ur using skills and imbue. Id continue: you'll get the last laugh on the int bow

Right now I am a level 14, pure STR, only Fire River Force at level 4, using bow. I only hit 40's on tigers with normal buff.

what are your stats? whatever you do, i really suggest you not going bow for the long run. bow is weak and arrows take up too much space. it's one of the best weapons to level up to high 30's or low 40's though.

depending on where your stats lie, go for a 2int 1str hybrid sword/shield. keep the bow at a max of 20 (getting only lvl 1 skills if you need them - tho unnecessary)

if i keep on putting stats into INT you should be fine with either sword/shield or spear later on.

but since you're lvl 15, go ahead and read ginny's post about not farming and 0 gapping. you can restart your character easily.

No, I am not using level 1 bow.

I am currently using the 2nd Chinese bow, which is the Infantry Bronze Bow I believe. I am only using Fire River Force when I attack, hitting only 40's. I can hit casual 200's with level 4 Anti Devil Bow though...and I'm not planning to use sword/shield. Even if I give up on bows, spears will be my second choice. So more tips on bows and or spears would be helpful, thank you very much.

PS. senapanaga, is 'senapanaga' your Olympus username as well? Because, if you don't mind, I will add you with my Olympus account which needs help right now...it is Dhragy.
