If the game finally gets around to being released, how much would it probably cost? I remember seeing GW for 20$ a few years ago, but surely it wont cost 20$? More like 50$?
Also is there a cash mall that affects pvp alot
And is this a hardcore sort of game (or more like what GW1 a hardcore game)?

This game is a lot more hardcore, kinda easy to get into but harder to master. Price wise I expect the game to be 60 bucks.

What Love said, a solid 59,99$ at release I'd assume. Spent the whole day watching all the recorded footage, will make another youtube playlist for you guys soon enough. There's WvW, Ascalon Catacombs Dungeon clear, Guilds explained, gameplay from all professions, second Structured PvP map (Forest of Nifhelel) (First one being Battle of Khylo) and a bunch of other stuff.

P.S: From one of the videos I've seen, we get 5 characters slot at release.

Yes, they've released a thing called a "Resender" yesterday. If you've already sent your specs and still haven't recieved an email, just use the Resender and you'll get it.

Totally agree. Most of the Press can't dodge for shit. Only decent ones I've found was Totalhalibut. (Although not good, Yogcast are pretty funny guys).

We should make sure we're all on the same Home server. We can switch servers whenever we want to meet friends (PvE) but for WvW you fight for your Home server. If you want to change Home server, you must pay a fee (Cash Store I assume).

Anyways, assuming they won't have the Asuras and Sylvaris in the March Beta, I'll roll a Charr Ranger and a Thief. I'll probably be able to chose which one I prefer after the event.

Cash store will provide no power or advantages over non-buyers. It's going to be all aesthetics I believe.

now this makes me want to totally buy the game. Pvp without have to do alchemy or all the PvE crap = EPIC

Higher level characters will still have traits over you and if I remember correctly better stats from gear as well ( traits also provide stats ). I remember reading something along the lines of you will have no chance of defeating a max level character as a low level assuming player skill is similar.

At least you'll have a chance to beat someone who's worse than you. In other games, you never stood a chance.

To add to what Love said, they sidekick you up to 80 mostly so you can help in the objectives(securing supplies, capping, etc) without getting 1-shotted.

Hm what is the cap going to be?

I dont really mind leveling and all (well unless its .005% per kill grinding in sro, repetitive etc), i just hate alchemy & crafting etc. Sure in group pvp or guildwar that should matter but in 1v1 i think it should be all skill based

The first GuildWars was the first MMO I actually bought. Good investment really. Without a monthly fee, you can always take a break and start playing again. Hell, I've been playing the first GW on and off for the last 6 years.

I can't decide if that's good or bad. It will indeed be different and hopefully allow people to explore all the classes in the game.

In the original game you could get to cap in something silly like 3 hours yet I played for months and am not even close to having completed over half the available content, so you decide ( I believe the sequel has and will acquire more content ).
