Just started playing this a little bit on multiplayer.. I hate it. Enemy always has a UAV up all game long because of stupid support packages. I barely have a positive k/d same with my brother and we both own on Mw2. Universal damage increase on guns makes latency difference even more annoying than usual. No wonder 2 of my friends sold it. It's not a terrible game though, they just tried to fix too much Non-broken stuff. And they supernerfed noob tubes. I was trying to get the challenge done for one weapon(10k exp sounds nice), all match long I got hit markers hitting the ground at peoples feet, but no kill with it. Everyone over rank 27 uses assassin Pro. Maps are too small and square. Camping is even worse it seems and I didn't think that was possible. Maybe I've just had a couple bad matches, but when I check the lobby leader boards, I think I should be doing way better against those people(barely positive and negatives) given I was good at Mw2 without having to camp to break even.

Oddly enough I don't hate the game, just disappointed with the changes.

first couple of matches just needed time to get used to everything new. once you start getting to know the maps, you know some highly camped spots, spawn points, etc. Also, if your by yourself and your team is on the other side of the map, you should know that theres always a chance of someone being there even if you have UAV.

You'll get better the longer you play, just dont resort to using akimbo FMGs all map long, because those guys are fackers

Bought MW3 for 20 euro on pc xD That new gametype is pretty fun too.

I guess it just feels like I have to get used to a new game instead of a semi smooth transition from Mw2.

Once you're used to how the maps are setup, you'll realize it's more like, same number of campers from mw2.

Grenade Launcher challenge for weapons is definitely the hardest challenge to do, you either have to hope somebody else already hurt the enemy, or that you can use both launches on the same enemy, or that you get it close enough that one shot kills them anyways.

Man, I dont understand the game sometimes.

1. Akimbo FMGs have no spread and still takes .5 seconds to kill someone ( easy mode )

2. Panic knives have long range and dont need any aim ( yet anytime I try to knife it doesnt work )

3. Whenever I hit somebody first, then they just start shooting, they get a instant kill headshot because their gun randomly jerks up and a bullet hits my face. I notice this happens alot, and wish they'd do something different so that the screen doesnt always jerk up once u get shot..

I still like the game, but I mean things like this make you think wtf.

Ended up with my 3rd gold gun now that i'm not prestieging anymore. Out of all the games i've played i've have yet to see a golden P90, but I just saw the first golden sniper rifle L18 or something.

So far I have a gold P90/PP90/MP7

MP7 is a great gun.. recommend it for those who havent tried it.

Gold guns are easy to get. It's kind of depressing. There's no real achievement in it anymore.

I had gold ACR and M4 before level like 40 and I just finished off my gold AK then prestiged the next match.

It is easy to get if you use the same gun for a long time. I got a ton of guns at like lvl 12-20, one or two 20+ and one gold gun because I keep changing the guns I use. It's more fun for me that way.

Yeah.. whenever I get a gun to level 30 I always try to get it gold and it prevents me from using my other guns :<

oh good, was half hoping this thread would be bumped so i could post my thoughts.
didn't see it worth posting in otherwise..

firstly, to the call of duty fanboys who expected this game to be amazing i'd just like to say ha-ha(in a told you so kind of way)

secondly. it's got some good and some bad to it. though honestly, more good than i was expecting. but the bad is also worse than i thought.

kill confirmed is a really fun gametype. it's pretty much all i've played.
i like the idea of weapon levels, but wish they saved the cooler camos for headshots.
prestige tokens and everything surrounding it is a good concept.
i surprisingly like what they did with killstreaks. compared to MW2, it's much improved and i have every type of killstreak at least once out of my 6 classes.

gold guns ARE easy to get and there's no challenge to them. any average joe can use a gun for like 5 hours of gameplay and have a golden gun. i miss the days of "only one more headshot to red tiger!"

shotguns: i read somewhere in this thread that they sucked. most of them may be iffy but the striker is the best gun in the game and the aa-12 is really solid. striker range is broken, it honestly can beat out a sub machine gun from most ranges if it gets the first shot and with extended mags and damage perk it's overkill.

akimbo weapons (fmg9's) but really, the idea is retarded to begin with. shouldn't still be there.
final stand. DUMB CONCEPT. yet it's been here for games and games and games.. and in this game it seems like the time between the guy falling into final stand and the time they become vulnerable to bullets again is huge. death streaks in general should go.

^oh yeah, also can't forget 90% of the maps in the game cater to the akimbo/striker style.

all in all this game gets a C-
not fun alone, questionable gameplay, very very gimmicky. all the things you've come to love with a call of duty title these days.

I think it would be alot better playing with people you know; I havnt really done this because no one I know really plays it on PC and theres no dedicated servers so its just hopping from one game to the next.

Not to mention I almost always get placed on a super bad team, but theres alot of bad peoples everywhere -_-

Wouldnt go as far as to say the strikers the best gun out there, but just imo

well, a slight exaggeration on the striker being the best gun but i'd say you could make a really legit case for it being #3 as far as "guns i'd choose if i could only choose one to play with for the day" because it's perfect for just about every map besides village/bakaara(maybe)/downturn.

way too all-purpose for a shotgun imo. in a game like call of duty where the kill times are always so fast, running around like a madman spraying corners with steady aim just makes everything worse and breaks maps. but all of them are pretty good after you get the damage perk.. scary good.

I hate OP guns, I always get fcked over by them but when I slap them on my own classes I always get raped. Maybe it's because I don't know how to use them properly, or I have the wrong class set up with perks etc or just not the right proficiencies/attachments. It sucks balls nevertheless.

Only OP gun that I have a problem with is the akimbo FMGs ( they are the worst of akimbos ) and you dont even really have to aim dead on because they have such little spread and kill really fast. I dont think they even patched it, yet they want to consider nerfing the shotgun extended ammo thing.

For the time first, I played in a party with two people I know, and gotta say its like 15x easier, get my pavelovs and such because I dont have the whole team sitting around or crouching around the map :o was pretty fun.

They did nerf FMG9... It made it so that instead of taking .10 seconds to kill with it, it takes .11.

BF3 is way too slow and too much of a cluster fuck to me.

Call of Duty is fast paced and the action keeps going

Exactly the reason I don't like it xD Might change if I had a group of guys I would always play with but I don't so I mostly try to solo bf3, which is retarded I know.

I don't particularly hate it, I just like bf3 a little more because even though there are still campers, there are significantly less. Teamwork is pretty mandatory, but it's beneficial in a big way so most people adhere to it. I only seem to have fun in Mw3 if I'm not playing seriously to win.

Exactly lol. Same thing happens in Bf3 as well. People take the game too seriously sometimes. Chill out and have fun and you'll even win a lot of the time.

Completely and 100% false. Camping is how you win at BF3. Find a second level in a building, find a corner, aim down sights, win game.
