SRO is a grind fest.
Why complain about it? Isn't that a little like complaining that Call of Duty is too shooting based? That Zelda is too puzzley or that Star Craft requires too much micro and macro management? Like saying Golden Eye spent too much time on multiplayer or that gears is third person instead of first person?
Especially that last example. When looking at a game, you look at a few things.
Genre -> Do graphics matter? -> Community -> Gameplay -> End game
So! Let's look at a few examples..
FPS -> Yes -> Huge playerbase -> kill fest, multiplayer -> Lot's of multiplayer -> CALL OF DUTY!
MMORPG -> Nah -> Active -> Grind fest -> er.. I'm not too worried -> Silkroad!
See, when people complain about silkroad being too much of a grindfest, they are complaining that silkroad is... well... Silkroad! It's exactly like going out and looking for a first person shooter, getting Gears of War, and then spending your whole experience complaining about how it's third person and not first person.
So a note to all people on these forums who complain about how SRO is too much of a grind fest and takes too long to level...
Go find a game that isn't a grind fest and doesn't take too long to level!
