The nail in the coffin, yes we knew it would come to this hell from the very start i was told by a bot they work perfectly in the game but stil i played, now its got to the point you cant log in, yesterday i killed 7 characters all with the names www1,www2,www3 etc with a bot taxi, the academys and globals openly admit to botting the game is never going to be maintained, i knew this from the start but i love sro and i want to play i enjoy leveling i dont mind long grinds, i dont go to salvation as i dont want to finish at level 70 i want to carry on, sro just has bad management and will never ban the bots, i dont mind bots so much either these days just if your going to openly admit it you should get banned for it, i got banned on one of my old characters for just saying wtt gold from x server to x server, and wasnt even serious about it with such huge number differences. just fed up iv watched 2 movies and stil not logged in.

yeh and if in beta when your suppose to be monitoring the game closely for bugs, problems and complaints you allow this many bots its a joke, ob for isro didnt have anywhere near this many bots and they got banned

Well, Sro-R is still a lot better than ISRO used to be, even if there are bots and it takes 5-10 minutes to log in sometimes (so far it never took much longer than that for me, but maybe i am just lucky). It's just awesome that you don't have to farm at all and that will always make it much better than old ISRO in my opinion. And the balance is much better than on ISRO too and also better than on certain private servers, which try to fix the balance issues and fail at doing so in my opinion. I know that it could and would be much better, if they would do something against the bots, but as long as you can log in without major problems, it's fine for me. But i'd most likely give up on it, if it should end up taking hours to log in.

If SRO-R remains the same after beta and your still playing it thinking that its better then you're just delusional. Waiting to log on even 10 min in this "improved" version is not good enough. Bot infestation is enough to show you that it is same garbage in terms of management. Don't think that just because you wont have to farm it will be easier...especially at higher levels.

I've seen people farming in isro and gaining 90k sp per day so SP gain rate in isro wouldn't be that different than sro-r. saying that "it could and would be much better" is already a sign of your denial. Saying that you'd likely give up if it took hours to log in is a sign of you slowly waking up to a possible reality.

I'll kick back and watch what unfolds

i agree, you will still only get 2% a day with a 0 gap at lvl 100+ so it will still take a long long time.

if the management is bad after beta ends, i think 80% of the legits there will quit regardless of their level.

The bot programmers are very performing and usually it takes a couple of hours to adjust their programs. I think the only way to get rid of the bots is a good GM monitoring in game, tracking the advertisings for LPT or 24/7, look at the chats, checking the academies asking for "bots only" and monitor all those high levels very closely and kick them as soon as they are found botting. Like first time a 7 days ban, second time perma ban.

But this version is easier to level up than "old" iSRO. There is much more SP from the quests, till now I didn't do any noticable farming certainly nothing to compare with the "good old level 16 farming with SOS bow for a couple of weeks", and I also appreciate the fact that at lower level you get a SOS to play with, so no grinding gold at lower levels to buy that SOS from a stall. I tried both Chinese and Euro characters, and it looks to me that Euros are faster levelling up. Even with the forces all in one, it still takes a lot of SP to level up the 3 different ones, and you're often in a gap 3-4. Euro are easier if you choose one weapon and a secundary support build like cleric or bard and you take only the skills needed for your levelling.

It took me more than 40 minutes on sunday.... But now you have that nice auto login stuff, not like in old days when you hand to reenter constantly name and pass.

Actually it will be easier even at higher levels without the farming. If i could have gone gap 0 all the time on ISRO, i surely would be lv.101+ and FF by now. With farming you are just much slower and also the quests help a lot too. Anyway i don't really care that much, if there are bots, as long as i can have fun and pts with my friends. Of course i'd rather have no bots on the server at all, but that's just quite unlikely to happen. You can still enjoy playing there, if it doesn't take too long to log in and i'd rather continue with SRO-R than going back to ISRO, where i basically have nothing left.

kronos, if bots are allowed the server will become more and more crowded with other people attempting to bot after a period of time, times would take longer and longer to connect and when you do connect bots will be in all the grinding spots and that is inevitable and a fact.

sure you can play till you get to lvl 95 or even 100+ but if joymax do nothing about it then it will get worse and worse and it will just be a easier silkroad for bots to level on.

by the time you reach 120, 2 bot guilds fully farmed with the best gear all +9 or higher will be fighting for fortresses and pking people like you.

As i said, if the log in takes hours, then i won't continue playing. But as long as it's possible to log in within a reasonable ammount of time, i wouldn't mind it too much. More than 1 hour is not reasonable anymore, so i'd just stop playing, if it should come to that. Also you can always find grinding spots for you and your pt and if necessary just have your wizards clean the spot from bots. They can remove the pk status during the pt anyway, so it's no big deal, especially when you just leveled, as you won't loose any exp then (since you can't delevel). Anyway if it should take more than 1 hour for the login, then i'd rather do something else. I want to play with my friends and i don't want to wait for the log in for hours.

As I stated in another post:

Sro-R was really nice for 24 hours because there were no bots, or their presence wasnt a big deal.
Then, it was nice for 2 more days. Indeed, bots started to show up, but there were still lots of legit parties and grinding areas were clear.
After that it was just another iSro with 8/8 bot parties, LTPs and bot infested areas.
So yeah, I didn't even make it to the first inspection.

Now, im back to my gold old ps3 playing Dark Souls (SL101 atm, this game is pure gold) and NHL 12 (when club members are online).

Well, joymax announced a bot-free, clean server. SO that's exactly what we expected. I didn't get my hopes high and knew it would end up in another iSro. I wasnt expecting it to turn into another iSro in a matter of hours thought. So yeah, I guess you could call us an old disgustion woman like your mom for being as naive and actually believe what joymax said.

How about Joymax stop being a douche bag and how about people stop being sheeps believing in a company that doesn't really care about its player base....Its annoying to see the amount of people on here getting excited whenever greedmax says there doing something only to not completely follow through(or ever at all).

lol or do i? the problem is logging on to the server right? so murder people at ur training spot with any luck their bots will disconnect on the way back to town or they will get stuck on a wall in town (which i see in dw alot) regardless have the gm come on and see them, BAN BAN BAN BAN. crisis averted everyone can log on
