Anyone else having trouble downloading the client? When I select a place to download to, a window comes up that says "Please try again to save to a different location."

No matter where I try to save it, it still comes up >.<

I think your fire wall is blocking the download programme (Akami Network session or something). Add it as an exception and it should be fine.

I turned off my firewall, then started the dl, then put the firewall back on. It's fine now. Thanks.

Wanna ask something, I remember that there was a trick for installing the client before the launch but i can't remember how.

I want to install it before it launches so i will be able to start game as soon as servers are on

Anyone knows is it possible or not and if it is possible how?

well lets not take it into the game in general. If we manage to fit all legits in 1 server then we automatically kill alomost all bots ourselves without the need of joymax..

One hour or 14 hours depending on when Joymax decides to launch the game.
If they are literally about the 20th, they'll open it in one hour. However, if they launch it at the same time as the weekly server inspection of the normal Silkroad, it will be in 14 hours.

Only thing that worries me about all this,

Logging in - All character creations are the exact same as old client.
- Starting towns look the exact same ( no added detail to enviorment )
- Leaving town and the first thing i see is Mangyang's (think that was thier name)
- Absolutely nothing new. (Enviormently)

If this is the case , I will stay with the bot's and all the prems i bought before giving all that up to play " The Same Game Over Again "

Well, basically, the game environment is the same, yes.
What they changed was how the classes are (the Chinese forces), how fast lvling is, what the sp requirements are, the quest system, the gold dropping and item gaining system (under lvl 70).
And way more. But hey, just check it out for yourself tomorrow

They changed values of the game. Maybe sooner or later special things, but I wouldn't expect anything big. I'm taking it as wemade trying to manage their own server that they can show "hey we have a staff." to other games that they can host. Plus it's good PR for SRO2.
