Ok someone said they just got my IP Adress since i was chatting with them on AIM. Is this possible?

Yes, but you don't have much to worry about... Someone can make a web page and easily log your IP, and any site you visit knows your IP.

What are you concerned about?

She can only hack you if you give her enough information for her to guess your secret password. That or get enough ideas of what your password is to brute it.

I dunno if its still MissKorea but im also getting IM's from this guy named majornuts saying hes GM Pizza. Says he know my ID pass IP blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. So yeah to hell with this i think im gonna go make myself throw up now.

While you are chatting with someone sending files .
Start > Run> CMD
Type Netstat -n and the ip address would be there.

i remember back in teh day you didnt have to DC with them

all you had to do is netstat -a and have their IP
but now they have tons of proxies so you have to connect with them.

There are hacks for almost all major applications, if you know where to look to find them. Ventrilo, AIM, MSN etc etc etc.

She's trolling for info. My suggestion would be to A) block her on AIM, B) get a new IP address, C) make sure your firewall is up to date, and D) stop talking with botters. If they are going to cheat in one way they will cheat in another - meaning there aren't a lot of "moralistic" botters out there.

First things first, and IP can only be obtained if your direct connect through aim, otherwise it doesn't show anything, just the whatever.aol.com:portwhatever

Second, the worst that can happen if someone obtains your ip is denial of service.

Because in normal chat you are not in direct contact with the other part of..
Your msgs will pass throw AIM servers and he will only get the server IP.
