Don't know, seems to me like it was much more popular back in '06.

I see it as a dumbed-down Steam now. (As far as contacting friends and launching games).

yes they do, maps are also a bit smaller in area, and there's an invisible ceiling now so that u can't fly above.

It has nothing to do with the game. At least I haven't noticed any on the PC version so far.

Supposedly origin - it might not be live yet. If you google "BF3 50% off" you'll see numerous articles saying that it will be 50% off this weekend along with some other games on origin

I bought it for 16 euro

I can play online now, it's alright but it's a tad sloppy when there's alot of explosions going on (not the games fault ofcourse).
