Difference between the two is Steam you get TF2 and a Portal gun for Dungeon defenders (engineer(heals towers), medic(heals players), heavy(increase player damage), and pyro(increase tower damage) pets. Portal gun for ranger) and Amazon gives you a pet that attacks, heals towers, and boosts your stats. Similar to the Engineer by the sound of it.

A little run down of what it is. It is a class based tower defense with a bit RPG mixed in. You level up, grab loot, upgrade loot, and work together with each class.

I agree! The money I spent on that game was the best-spent few bucks in my life!
I enjoyed playing that game. The voice-over is amazing and the characters and animation is just lovely.

My cousin plays this... Is it like LoL or something where you play agaisnt other people? Or you just play with your teammates agaisnt AI?

I might consider buying but I dont want it to be another game I just download and play for a couple hours and leave it alone

It's a tower defense game where monsters just spawn and try to attack the heart(s) mixed in with rpg elements. Nothing like LoL besides monsters spawning and attack the 3 towers then to the heart.

It's a good game, got about 60 hours of fun out of that 14€ or so that i payed for it.
But unfortunately once you learned how to powerlevel yourself alone you just kind of run out of content really fast...

Oh look it's 75% off now. Pick up the game for $3.74 or with all the DLCs for about $5. DLCs is just the old Halloween maps/costumes, challenges, and 4 new characters(Really reskins of the old ones, but with a couple new skills)
