This "improved" drop system will FAIL. Because as it looks now any level 113+ player will NOT be able to gain any gold coin / silver coin drops from Uniques in jobcave anymore...
Nor you will be able to gain nova items after 117..

So make sure to get your full set before you get 113.. or you will never get it.

I've NEVER seen a legit grind mobs 7 lvl's lower then his level unless hes powerleveling the ONLY poeple that will be affected by this is Bots PERIOD.

You forget the most important thing:
JOB CAVE UNIQUES

Unlike you not everybody is full legend.. Or can just buy these items.. In fact I went almost daily this jobcave uniques just to gain my gold/silver coins.

These uniques are level 106 107... Since I am currently 113 and wouldnt take long to 114.
I will not gain any coins anymore of these uniques. Because they are -7 levels..
As a result I will be forced to buy my goldcoins.. Which i can not afford.

So this update forces me to Dlvl my char back to 113 all the time. Just in order to gain my coins.. You see why these update is a failure? Or do you still think this is a good thing?


*Same goes for farming nova items.. You cant do that anymore after you have gotten 116+.

P.s.: Goldbots wont be stopped by this. Since they switched to selling silk items instead of killing mobs..

I got it by doing lots of inters with my guild they gave me the silver coins and i switched those for gold coins. We do the same with arena coins

The system could easily be tweaked. Like that Temple mobs still have the old system, or drop gold coins no matter the char's level.

And again LEGIT players won't notice. for legit players this is still a great change.

And about inter's well at 105 you can go advanced and you'll get coins there till 116 since a LEGIT player will take quite some time to level high they should have plenty of time getting what they need

The Flying Dutchman is 1000% correct. Everyone here should be happy cuz this update does NOT affect legits. But as usual ppl are in here whining and complaining.

@firefinal, you had your chance to farm gold/silver coins and etc, now give chance to others, you still can farm Immo/Destruction set in Jupiter temple.

This is the perfect update to stop those swarming gold bots.

Only problem I see if when this update applies in Forgotten World. If that's the case then I will be forced to do risky 2* all the time now, but well, more chances of talisman drop and more challenging than the super easy 1*

It's really not our problem if you are too noob gain good items in game. I even have Legend/rare Set but I never bought silk or buy gold. It's just a matter of how good you do business in this game. and yea, I only play 1 char not like those 8/8 Party nova farmers you're talking about.

In my opinion killing a seth / haroeris will never happen again. Simply because nobody bothers to go to them.

Besides this jupiter stuff. My guildmates are doing this every day. Killing him about 100-150x so far. Gained 1x egy drop... These jobcave uniques are just a much faster way of getting this.

There are enough other communities as well. (I still find it strange that you actually have the funds to afford a Sun / Som 12D set...but hey that is just me.)

Anywho now back to the point of this topic. I still think this update will affect us more then you think it will. Because what i noticed so far is that certain people in this game from a certain part of the globe didnt really understand that this also doesnt work for uniques.
As a result prices of gold coins increased to 500m ea already.. and silvers to 100m ea already.
And since I am not planning to stay 113 all my life, i will not gain any coins of the uniques anymore.. No more fun.

Not that i care any longer since I am setting my char for sale. And moved to a vsro pserver. With the old job system and old drop systems.

But it seems that I am probably the only person that sees the long term damage this update does..

Who is everyone? The legit community of SRO has asked for only one bot solution: ban them! Be online, undercover if needs be, find those botters, and ban them. 1st offense: 1 week, 2nd offense: 1 month, 3rd offense: bye bye. See how many botters you have left after the first penalties have been dealt. I think most of the players will continue legit after the first penalty. Currently the anti-bot program is a paper tiger; nobody cares.

Good point, but in that case they could have put a level cap on the problem so people near the cap (certainly not gold botters) don't get bitten by it.

I agree with what firefinal1 says , this update won't only hurt botters, it will affect legits too and time will prove that.

Gold bots will just have to change their ways and seriously how hard is it to tank mobs 7 levels lower?
They may need better gear but they will survive.

Yes, now i can see lvl 82 nukers at Shamans and Mages. And they don't have any problems there. They had already moved there before this update.
