Item Farming. Level ranges?

Post by Salle »

I'm fairly new ot the world of Silkroad - tho I enjoy the fast paced game and looking forward to actually enter the Merchant / Hunter / Thief system - I am more concerned with my equipment at this level (level 18 as of this post).

I'm a typical powergamer and Intend on playing this regular.. but to the question at hand..:

I'd like to know which places are good for what sort of hunting/farming. I managed already to find out how/where to farm SP and experience and even gold.. but items? I'd have to assume that some mobs drop more items than others- and ofcourse the higher level the better items.

Right now I'm level 18, and I'd like to know where to farm good items? And in 10 levels where I should go then?

I couldn't find any guides using the search function.

Thanks in advance!!

Green mobs drop more items. A mob is green if the circle beside it's name is green when you click on it. I think bandits might be green for you, if not then bowmen, and if not them it would be archers.

Very specific answer :) Thank you.

Green mobs, what level range would they be compared to me?
Actually.. what are all the colours that I see on mobs relations to ones level?

So far I've only noticed White, Orange and Blue.

green mobs dont drop more. its just that you kill them a lot faster than whites, and they still drop things, compared to blues, which have a very low drop rate.

drops are totally random. plain and simple. no mobs, places, techniques, or anything yeilds more drops.

white are 2 levels below you and your level
orange are up to 6 levels above you then there red

I presume level 18 mobs dont drop level 6 items or level 26 items?

What would the maximum/minimum level of item be compared to the mob? +/- ?

Is there a table over creatures and drops? I presume not when you say they're totally random. But I enjoy numbers and figures and theorycraft
