Question about SRO these days...

I haven't been able to play for 7 months, but I'm still gonna wait until there's a way to play on my iMac without having install a Windows partition for Bootcamp.

With the release of the new lvl cap, and IP character limits for USA, do people still do Power leveling for a variety of areas?

Powerlevel : Yes .

Player Bots : Yes .

Gold Bots : Yes

Lag : Yes .

New people joining : Rare .

Jobbing : No (because of new job system if you ever heard of it)

Rarity of Sox weapons : No (there are a lot since forgotten world came out)

Community : Depends on a lot of things .




Cap = 120 .

Stall network is replaced with consigment (better than stall network since you don't have to be online for items to stay in consigment) .

Group pvp : Capture the flag , Battle arena , Fortress war .

and just found out last night the reason no more slave watchers are spawning is because Joymax removed the ability for 10 and under to "spawn at present point". Fckers gotta screw up the game for everyone.

Yes. But prior to update, level 10 and under could spawn where they had died without returning to town.

That isn't an improvement , since there are many other ways to fix it .

IMO its improvements. Since farming bot parties is to lazy to get their lvl1 chars to spot for better farm, when they can not res on spot. As long as you can get back thru the npc, why care?

And the consignment system. People cried about such a system for years. When it finally comes, its not good enough.. Pathetic.

When it first came it wasn't laggy and didn't rob you out of gold (if you know what i mean)

How the hell do people reach that level cap?! I remember when the cap was still 70 and I got to it a month or 2 after they raised it to 80. Blah.... 120?

I think the only fun thing I did in that game was guarding some traders from thieves back when there was only a handful of level 40s and rarely any 50s. Oh, and no bots at all.
