Pre-ordered, it just showed up on my kindle. Wont be able to read it yet though, currently half way through my second reading of the first 4 books, and I want to finish those first.

I finished reading all the books. Its amazing. I heard A Dance with Dragons leaked so i'd be careful if you guys visit any HxC game of thrones sites or even 4chan. You might get spoiled big time.

I swear to god i will lead a riot if it takes him another six years to finish "The Winds of Winter" especially seeing as it took 6 years from AFFC to ADWD and they're two halves of the same book.

I've gotten through 1/4-1/3 of the newest book so far, and now I see why it's taking so long... He needs to stop adding more characters, at the rate he adds them, the series will take a century to finish. He isn't that young of a guy either. I hope A Dance With Dragons adds the last of the characters needed, and that it will mean that the rest of the books will go by a little faster.

he said ADWD would be the last book he added more character PoV in. Then he said that he would add more PoVs if needed. Then he said he needed to start killing off more of the minor characters.

I think he's getting senile. We'll be lucky if we see The Winds of Winter.

Whether he does or not, isn't for sure certain, since apparently, if their head isn't taken off, they might still be alive in the series, see Brienne getting hung, she comes back anyways.

It was a good introduction to the War of the Five Kings, even if Balon and Renly didn't have screen time. I'm liking the scenes they're adding, just like in the first season. You gotta love those contrasting scenes of Joffrey/Cersei and Robb/Catelyn.

Also, this is Tyrion's book so I'm really excited for more Peter Dinklage's silver tongue.
