So i am building a computer for a family member and i offered to sell my cpu and gpu so his total cost would be low. The question is what should i get for a replacement? I currently have a amd athlon x4 640 and a 9800gtx+. I was thinking a phenom x4 955 and a 6870 but idk. I don't exactly need an upgrade but like i said i am making it cheaper for a family member. Or i could just sell him my computer as a whole but i don't know what it is worth.

Sounds good to me. My brother has the phenom 965 black edition @ 4Ghz and a 9870. Plays BF2:BC maxed out, really nice setup for the price.
