Recovery Division

Post by Vaya »

Recovery Division has 105% reflect from weapon's magical attack.
Does this work when you switch weapon?
I mean if you cast RD with a 11D weapon then switch to your normal weapon, Do you get more healing than if you cast it with a low level weapon?

Also the 25% hp recovery on avatar dress, does it mean that you get extra 25% healing, or extra 25% from pots or both?

I think I tried this before with low level stuff, and yeah it's slightly different with a higher level cleric rod. But I don't remember if RD uses the cleric rod's attack rate or the weapon you switch to. I *think* it still uses the cleric rod's stats.

The weapon magical reflect always depends on the weapon you are currently holding.
For example, if you cast healing cycle with lv.16 Cleric rod and switch to lv.80 Staff, the amount of health HC heals will be increased.
If you cast Warlock's DoT on a mob with a lv.1 Warlock rod, then switch to lv.101 Staff and turn LT on, the damage will increase.
As for the recovery division, it does matter which weapon you are currently holding.

So shouldn't rec division not heal at all for a pure str holding a 2h? 0 mag attk...

No, because RD also has a basic healing amount. (just like healing cycle btw)

so if your RD's healing amount is 100 hp, with a 0 magic attack weapon you get 100, and with a higher magic attack weapon you get more, sounds logical.

Exactly, thats how Joymax reduce amount of healing by european STR characters, atleast when they have their main weapons equipped.

In that case, they should make the amount of healing from Recovery Division and Healing Cycle be completely dependent on the item and int point multiplier. Base value should be moot to make it fair.

Like Rec Division heals 110 hp at lvl 110. Wep multiplier, than int multiplier. So a pure str rec division would only heal like 1000 hp tops ever 5 secs.

Healing Cycle Base value would be like 110 hp at lvl 110. Wep Multipler and int multiplier. Cleric rod equipped would add like 3k automaticall, and int multipler would increase it even more so int cleric could heal like 10k hp every sec vs pure str only healing like 1k.

Would be nice if it was like this. Currently the base value must be too high or something. Watching pure str pvp, you see the hp max out with healing cycle within like 2 secs.

When it's been years after the update it would be very pointless to change it now. It should have been based off int on affecting MP/HP recovery, but imagine how bad the subclass would be then. Every I don't know.. 100 int should be like 10% more healing though. That way it doesn't completely destroy the entire idea of a subclass. Actually better idea would have been just only one mastery. Though I guess people would've bitched and moaned saying Chinese character has 3.

Though I remember people in Troy were always fighting saying the weapon didn't matter it was your int. I always laughed. Was even funnier when nearly every cleric would have a low degree sox cleric rod when PvPing. Guildwars, grinding, and murder that'd be the right choice, but in cape and job? lol.

Indeed. Pure str could still heal, just not very well. In a solo grinding situation, it's better than nothing. In party grinding, oh looky, there's actually a use for int bards and clerics now instead of the do everything warrior/cleric. You want good heals, get an int cleric.

I still lol at turks pvping at smk using lvl 1 cleric rods.

NO. I tried it. I have warrior before, when I use RD with level 1 rod, the hp wont regen whereas when I use higher degree cleric rods it helps.(after weapon switch).
