Warrior / Wizard?
Warrior / Wizard?
k, stupid build I know, but why not this?
In terms of PvE, is this build feasible? I just thought Wizard's nukes will be useful as a ranged approach, followed by Warrior's sword skills should the enemies close in. In groups, I suppose the Warrior can use nukes to draw in more mobs for the other wizards to do AoE damage on.
Well, what do you guys think?

Re: Warrior / Wizard?
Sorry to say it like this, but it's a stupid idea. Wiz, is mag damage, warrior's phy damage, means 1 of the 2 won't do a thing. Also, in groups, you can't weapon switch, because your buffs will disappear resulting in a dead party.
Wiz/warrior is for Goldbots who die at ongs without HA

Like was said, if you go Wizard / Warrior (bold is main), than the warrior mastery really serves little to no beneficial skills to being an euro int.
If you're talking about a Warrior / Wizard... then it's a bit different. The only skills you'd take from the wizard mastery tree would be:
* The Spirit skills to open up the skills respective to its element type (cold, fire, lightning, earth)
* The passives (range increase, lesser mp consumption)
* There's Bind (Root /Mesh Root) & Earth Barrier from Earth
* There's Combustion (Mana Drain /Mana Drought) & Crystal Invisible from Cold
* There's really nothing from Fire
* Then there's Fear (Lightning Shock /Lightning Impact), Group Knockbock (Charged Wind lv 1) & Teleport from Lightning
If you're asking about this build concerning the normal SRO version (not a private server) I'd suggest going with another sub (non-wizard)... I'm not sure "combustion" (mana drought /mana drain) even goes through holyspell anymore...
As for the PvE aspects; In solo PvE, Teleport (no need for a staff to cast) comes in handy, as does the Fear, Bind, and Earth Barrier. Though, the wiz skills, besides teleport, you won't be really using besides for giants /pt mobs (by yourself).
In Group PvE, you won't really need your sub. Can do fine just playing the part of Warrior.

Re: Warrior / Wizard?
Biggest problem i can see here is 1 build is int based the other STR based if you'd go lets say Pure hybrid i don't think either of the attacks will do much damage?
Re: Warrior / Wizard?
Hmmm okay. I was finding a unique build for myself where I could enjoy playing with it.
Oh well, seems like Warrior / Wizard is out of the question after all....

warlock|bard|cleric are all int based, doesn't stop them from being viable subs...
biggest problem that it doesn't augment the build too much. I mean with cleric u have heals to make u tank better, warlock gives you debuffs and mass interruptions, rogue gives you a chance of insanely high dps and weapon versatility.
Wizards give u mass kb not limited to melee range, invisible(also found in rogues), root(cleric), fear(not available even to warlocks).
I wont mentions bards coz i dont consider them a decent sub for warriors.
Its theoretically a viable sub, as to how it will play out, well make it and tell us
Spoiler!
Theseus - lvl 5x - warrior/rogue
Re: Warrior / Wizard?
Euros aren't like Chinese who deal both phy and mag atk at the same time.
But u can try and go 70:70 Warr Wiz and tell us how good it is.

Actually, a lot of people choose this build. It is full and you don't get any warrior skills. You pick warrior only to wear HA.
