Black Ops: Spawn trap team [PS3]

Post by marijnz0r »

Hey fellow Black Ops players,

I've recently found out how to effectively spawn trap with a few of my friends. Now it's alot of fun when you're owning the enemy team and it gives a feeling of power.
Have you always wanted to spawn trap the enemy team, and is your K/D is above 2?

Spawn traps are fun I admit, but yea it does suck being on the opposite side of em. So I hardly even do it anymore. Once you get em in it, it takes 0 skill to get a kill.. That's not fun to me.

This is about "Other Games", so why shouldn't I create another thread?

Because it's about a game that already has a thread.

Yea and their is already a "Black Ops" Thread as MrJoey stated. I don't get spawn trapped but I hate them. I'm on the team doing the spawn trap. It just means less fun for some people. I prefer to play a game where everyone is laughing and having a good time. Hence the point of a game. Douche bags as of late have nothing better to do than play solely to piss others off and that's why spawn trapping fits in that category. You don't do it for fun, you might have fun while doing it, but you do it to piss of the enemy team.

Evolutionary, everybody wants to win.
So why not do it in a way that's deadly and owning?
Winning is fun for me. If I lose a match, the level of fun deacreases with a significant amount.

I already did thoroughly, so the outer limits have to be investigated now.

I just don't see the fun in spawn trapping... just easy points and making the other team leave in the end... lol

Are you getting Angry cuz you realize most of use can keep our 2.0+ without resorting to exploitation?
If you can pull off a Spawn Trap, you should win NO PROBLEM.

So killing enemy's that dont even have a chance to shoot back gives you a feeling of power? What a tool.

That's like saying kicking a baby across the room gives you a feeling of power. Totally defenseless. Makes you look like a Bitch to.

serious suggestion: go play matches vs other teams/clans. If you've apparently skillcapped your play in amazingly difficult public servers where you run an elite crew of L33T Sp4WNTR4PPrz with astonishing K/Dr's of >2.0 (!!!) who spawntrap everyone to death, maybe it's time to move on to real competitive play? You know, the kind where the other team is also organized? Where they'll try to 'spawntrap' you as well, where you get motivated to become even better so you can finally get the ultimate feel of 'power' when you win WCG/DreamHack etc?
Seems to me a player of your caliber (I note again: >2.0 K/Dr!!!) is wasting his time 'spawntrapping' noobs in public servers.
Maybe then you can also move up to the real big boys, who actually don't even play TDM, but S&D, where 'spawn trapping' doesn't ever enter the game.

1. Like I need a +1
2. If you wanna talk about balls, why do you need ONLY 2.0+ Player to pull off your spawn trap?

I've escaped out of spawntraps before too, but I still hate them. I also don't see the fun in it, it's no challenge at all. I also don't see why you want a K/D ratio of 2.0? Like it matters. I don't think I've got a K/D ratio of 2.0 but I still think I'd own ya  :D

add me if you want to play, but no spawntraps :D psn: kingmoa

Spawn Trap? Sounds awfully gay. I just run around and knife ppl and still get a KD of around 1.5-2 so meh. If you really enjoy spawn trapping and winning so much, might as well load up a server full of retarded bots and kill them all day.

Note: I just started playing Black Ops since last week.

I looked it up. That shit is even stupider than I had previously thought. If you think it's fun to spend 10mins+ standing in a corner knifing the air and getting kills, you're an asshole.

I'd throw away my PS3 and declare myself no longer a gamer before I would stoop to something as low as that. Doing it once for fun, I can understand. Planning to do that shit over and over and over is just bad sportsmanship among other things.

Unfortunately kids with low skill flock to this game to "feel powerful" and really show how far they have to go to get a good score or nice K/D.

Anyhow, this lowlife did ask for a lock on this since he went and pooed in his diaper because we didnt think he was cool. Lets give him that lock! :D

Spawn Trap = Camping. Essentially. I quit playing Black Ops as well. I thought Mw2 had a lot of campers.. but the more bullets needed in BLops encourages camping.
I think FPSRussia said it best.
