PowerA is an awesome Company. Best PS3 Controller EVER!

Post by Goseki »

This Controller: http://www.amazon.com/Pro-Elite-Wireles ... B003V4AK8E

I was wondering, does anyone else have an issue with the lights?

I noticed that my home lights are kinda messed up. When Charging it blinks instead of rotates, and instead of displaying which player I am, it keeps player 1 and 2 lights on at all times regardless of my player number. I know all 4 lights work since when I turn it on all 4 lights are on and blinking in unison. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and knows a fix for it.

I don't think i'll return it since it's such a minor issue, and from what I've heard lots of these controllers have dead zone issues which mine only has a minor amount of dead zone. Like less than 1mm. Is that good?

Update: They responded to my email within an hour and told me the recent PS3 firmware update is the cause. They're sending me a new receiver that should fix the issue free of charge.

Man I love good customer service. Will def be buying more gear from them.

You do know people hallowed out PS2 controllers to put the 360 board in it during the first year of release, right?

Oh wow. I would've expected you see mod like I mentioned above where they gutted the 360 and put the DS3 board in it and vice versa

First class mail too. New USB adapter arrived. Controller works perfectly now. Shows the correct player number and everything.

This controller has a 360 layout too. Also has indented analog sticks and better L2 & R2 triggers.

Wired, so obviously cheaper.

I saw that one at Wal-Mart. I chose the Pro Elite because of A) Wireless and B) Rubber texture instead of plastic.

Price-wise, not different at all. I bought the Pro Elite for 29.99, the afterglow is at walmart for 24.99. 5 bucks for wireless, y not.

lol I want one. I can easily go ps3 to 360, but going from 360 to ps3 transition is just terrible.
