If you want to learn how to play you might want to watch it in English Dubs will most likely translate the cards name in OCG format, not TGC (NA one).

I've started reading Katekyo Hitman Reborn! again, I stopped last time cause it took really long to get things started; so I just gave up on it. I'm on chapter 157 now (half way caught up) and this manga just doesn't stop giving. It's an extremely slow start (takes about 50 chapters until things finally get rolling), but when it starts, it doesn't stop. At one point, I was hoping the battles would end; so I could go do something else lol.

Although it follows the usual train<->fight cycle, it never gets boring.
