It's hilarious how you sit here on this forum every day waving the islamic flag at everyone who barks in your direction and that of religion in general, yet you live in Holland as a modern western muslim who('s parents) probably migrated here, and live by less than a 10th of the ideals of the koran. It's also rather disgusting and insulting how you think you're this examplary muslim who has to correct others when they speak their mind, yet you have no clue what you're really saying.

It's probably a waste of my time since you're.. you, but at least this time I can go to bed knowing that I actually educated you a little about how big of a hypocrit you are as a muslim on homosexuality, and for me personally, that will justify you insulting me, my mother, and many others. It will also solidify my personal beliefs even more which is a big plus.
Your religion believes homosexual people are not equal to heterosexual people. Anal sex (not just for homosexuals) is an actual crime in many islamic parts of the world. Homosexuality is - to this day or not long ago at all - given the deathpenalty in some islamic based countries (Iran, Jemen, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates to name a few that I know of). In Bangladesh and the Maldives, muslims are given life in jail as punishment for being homosexual/supportive of homosexuality. In the islamic population, young men are sometimes introduced to other young men, in order to "prepare for the real thing" (That's actually hilarious considering) and some islamic men are disowned and abandoned by their family and ignored if they refuse to marry a woman (even sometimes appointed to them). Families even killed their own male family members as a kill of honor for being homosexual or supportive thereof before the 1950's. This still happens in small circles today and has actually had alot media attention lately (as have many other of these beliefs/rituals) in turkey etc.
The islam has always been against homosexuality and that is slowly disappearing. Now I'll tell you exactly where my opinion forms itself.
Turkish islamic countries have LEGALIZED homosexuality in the 19th century. It's that long ago. In several states and cities in turkish countries, gaybars have been around for a very long time. In 2006, a gaybar was opened in Alanya (Turkey) actually by the mayor himself, I was there on vacation just a few months later and heard about it myself. Homosexual activists (people who fight for legalization of gay marriage and homosexuality in general, and islamic acceptance therein) can legally do their thing in most islamic countries these days, and these people have gotten alot of media attention in the history of the 21st century, and these communities are only growing.
The more extreme of these rituals/beliefs are slowly becoming history in the general islamic community (death penalty, punishment, family killings etc etc etc). Only the more mild beliefs are still seen today in the islamic population. Nowadays muslims are only scared of being gay because they're afraid of being rejected by the islamic community. A few decades ago, they would pay with their life if they even spoke of it.
I'm a proud atheist, but I will always respect people's opinions regarding that, or religion in general, and I do expect the same from others.
My point is, before you look at others, you should really look at yourself because your religion and that of others has changed a LOT in the direction of disappearance.
It is of my opinion that it will completely disappear real soon. It is also of my opinion that it should go real soon, but that is a whole different story all together.
