im lvl 101 and im using 101 magic staff how come i still have it? my friend who is 98 doesnt have it wth?

Because a 98 character can't wear it o_O .

12 Degree soX items are level 101 , you can wear them when you are level 101 but you will have a proficiency penalty on it which reduces damage a bit (still more damage than 11 Degree) .

When you get to level 106 the proficiency penalty will be deleted and you can use the item at it's full power .
