Good question. Now that I think about it, I am probably the least efficient of everyone here. I just use what ever is there and if it isn't I'll go find it somewhere.

I'm gonna organize and we'll see how it goes.

I'd really like one of these http://www.wacom.com/bamboo/bamboo_touch.php

I have the money, but I just bought a new keyboard, monitor, and mousepad and I don't feel like spending any more money.

Edit: Even though I can get it for $40 and have it in two days. http://www.amazon.com/Wacom-CTT460-Bamb ... 397&sr=8-1

If you're serious about getting into graphic design (or whatever) definitely get it.
If you strapped for cash get the small which is just as good as the others - just no LEDs.

The bamboo is just as good as the intuos4 but the intuos definitely has more customization ability.
Not sure about the 2048 pressure levels and near zero starting pressure, I think they have added it to the bamboo as well - idk.

On the Intous you also have tilt sensitivity(and maybe even turn? or was it on the cintiq?) which is also quite neat.
But the bamboo is sure enough for a hobby.

This would be my workspace. Atleast i am trying hard to work like that most of the time, but i still forget some shortcuts once in a while.

Got this baby for around $50 (IIRC) during a sale.

I would highly suggest it if it's just for a hobby.
