New Website Idea!

I've been thinking, does this idea exist yet, if not, would anyone be interested in making this happen?

We all know about big gaming review websites like mmosite, or IGN. We also know that companies pay them to spin the light at times to make things sound better.

How about a website that takes NO money from any gaming company, and tells it like it is. I can see how this can easily gain a huge gathering quickly. Players post their reviews, reviews are moderated, you can see what a game is really like from the player's perspective. Game ran by shitty management will have to change their ways as they realize their growth come to a hault.

This will take dedicated gamers and website designers and whatnot to keep it going. We won't make much money at first, just simple ads to keep things going, but over time, I think the large volume of ppl who want a website that gives a true review would make things better.

Is there a website like this already?

Can you send me the link to one? I've been looking, but I haven't found a big website that has honest reviews and actually calls out gaming companies like Joymax. I see a small article published like once a year about bad companies, but that's really it. Rest of the time it's either amazing game or meh. Rare to get a wow this company's customer support is TERRIBLE.

I like your idea, but I'm sorry to say that I have to agree with Toasty. Such sites already exists. And even if there are no complete honest website, it will still be close to impossible to compete in the gaming website branch/niche.

I dont know if mmohut.com takes money from gaming companys, but their reviews are honest. If a game is cash shop dependent, they say it are and if they dislike something they are not afraid to speak their mind. This site is where I look for first when it comes to F2P titles.
