Might seem clever but it'll be just like the current wii. Play it for a week and get tired of it. Was expecting a console that wouldn't just make casual gamers happy but doesnt look like that'll happen.

There was a LOT of speculation in the upcoming months, about Nintendo launching a new Console. Even just an upgraded Wii

They make special glasses to revert 3d back to normal lol. 3D is a failed technology I think.

It's all a gimmick now. Though I do like that Sony is trying to integrate move and 3D into most games now.

Its not a new console. You cant use it without a Wii. its a controller so kids can play there games when their parents kick them off the tv.

It's innovative, yes..

But the man says it's not designed to be a portable console, which makes sense because they created the 3DS for that. Though the screen could be handy as they showed in the video, but I have my own TV. I can play on it as long as I want. It seems they designed it around an issue that isn't that bad. I mean IF you have to stop gaming because you've been occupying the TV for a while now, save and do something else.

It's still early, I don't know.

Wii U is...

A new console/gaming tablet that works with ur Wii.
It not only improves the quality of games you have but also will
to be able to play new fully HD games (such as the new Zelda)

I guess its smaller then a new console, no wires and if its as
powerfull as they said ill be happy...hell watching that bird
fly around, i doubt any of us can say it didnt look highly
impressive, and its about time Nintendo got some HD games.

Getting bad first reactions on the wii 2 blogs that i know of.

Considering its been said to have a massive performance upgrade (they've been saying to be better than PS3/Xbox 360), it looks pretty terrible.

All it really seems is that they're making the wii HD with a new controller which seems to just be annoying.
