Yo, all! I just got back from my trip to Berlin, and I find this thread with 15 pages of replies already! This sounds very interesting. I'll probably do my usual build: Dual axe warrior/cleric.
Simply because it doesn't require a lot of farming.

I'm downloading the client right now with an incredible speed!

Wth are you worried about having to farm? The rates are insane.

If we want to rape the server, we'll need sexy builds played by people who actually know what the fuck they're doing.

Well I'd do either, cap and farm or farm and cap... both work good for me

We really lack INT based characters, at the very least there's 10 warriors already

Well..... I COULD make a warlock/bard (switch to cleric at cap), if we really need ints. I don't know... my favorite would be a warrior, but I guess it would be possible if we're lacking that muc.

Right when i hit 52 i made a 8 gap bc i couldn't even level just my basic wizard skills. So I'm gonna farm a day or two. Should get 100k easy.

I don't know to be honest. I really want to play a warrior (tired of INT's), but I'd probably re-roll Wizard if we are lacking :oops:

EDIT: I can't get the game to start. It says the server is undergoing inspection....?

Don't start re-rolling. We had this problem on Azteca, everyone was like "ZOMG TOO MANY TANKS, NEED INTS!", which resulted in us, not having enough tanks anymore, and a shit ton of ints.

Play the build you want to play.

Unless it's DA/cleric.

Anyway, can any of you guys start the game? I've donwloaded the new media.pk2 and the game folder itself. Can't start the game though. Any ideas?

@Macs I think we'll be fine, there's a ton of ints in this server.

I vote for cap farming if so.

@ltsune, the server is down ATM from DDoS attacks, they're currently getting a DDoS firewall so this server doesn't end up like ZSZC.

How do they have the money for that? I doubt they'll spend enough to buy a good enough one. It's at least $5000+ per month. And they're not even making any money yet.

But yeah, it's probably for the best. I have to get some sleep anyway, lol. I slept 8 hours during the past 3 nights all together. 3 hours the first night, 3 hours the next and 2 hours last night.

Dont get why ppl are worrying about farming right now, bt in whichever case, farming at ~76 would be the best imo since you are actually getting sp instead of chasers at 90 which is like :palm:

Farming at lv.76 on chasers? With 67 masteries? Good luck doing that. On Azteca i farmed with 72 mastery (i had sos +5 shield and several +4 light armor parts) but it was still really hard. I died quite a lot.

I also think it will be better to farm at cap but yet again, I am a bard with no sub (and no I don't want a sub, thanks), so I won't have many troubles with sp

From what I understand Elite also runs several other pservers for other games, they've probably got quite a bit of money. Once they're up and running they're going to be making a sh*t ton of money, as I'm sure they know it.
Chances are they were expecting something like this to happen after knowing what happened to ZSZC.

Rather than stopping at 76 we should just go the extra ~14 levels and farm in the Jangan Caves for cap level gear. As you can see I want to #%@#ing cap so I don't have to worry about falling behind or dying to some high level turk. :banghead:
