I'm a grown man, but dam, this is the only tv show episode that has brought me super super close to tears. Like I can feel my eyes burn. Which to me, is pretty crazy... Haven't cried in over a decade now...

there was a fresh prince episode, when his dad comes back. That to me was the saddest moment on tv for me.
This is pretty sad too

I remember that episode vaguely. Image of some statue comes to mind.

Good to see I'm not alone. Always get a weird feeling when I see this episode. Like part of me knows its a good episode, but the other part is like don't watch it, you'll just end up depressed...

this episode and the bee epsiode do it for me. i cant and refuse to) watch them. futurama is the ONLY cartoon to make me tear up. i love it and hate it at the same time.

Hayao Miyazaki has a literal tap that he can turn on to make me cry uncontrollably for hours on end. Oh god, I could name off countless films of his that have turned me all sooky and have made me weep in the wee hours of the morning. He's brilliant, it's just as simple as that. Such emotions can be conveyed in such an uninvolved medium, it's mind blowing.

Cartoons have never brought me to tears, only a couple of books have. Some movies as well. The last book i read some days ago, did bring me to tears.
