Hey guys. After i came back from overseas i could not be fuckked playing Silkroad again and lately getting this can't be farked doing this feeling for everything. And now i get bored easily and for some weird reason, I want to play Silkroad again. My point is what is your motivation of playing SRO? Mine is that i wanna be high level and do random shit at random places, also like the graphics of SRO and would want to talk to high level people about random shieet as well.LOL
So what's your motivation or do you even have one?
Most of the time i spend chatting , it would be cool if i hit a high level but it won't make much difference to me . I am good at making gold and i like to help a new comer to the game once in a while (if they are polite and i like them , i will give them a sack full of gold and a little wolf) .
So in the first week in college i went with jeans and the pajama's shirt. Didn't notice what i was wearing till after i returned home.
I started again for the "social" aspect as far as games can be social, I dont care what level I reach as long as its (32+) and hanging out with the few legits that still play is always good.

I play cos of the great graphics, great game concept(not the new job system though), awesome weapons and skills. And cos SRO is my first non-browser game i played back in 2005.
My motivation is to find out how it is to be a high lvl and have fun in those cool high lvl places. And i'd like to put my build to the test in high lvl PvP.
I've got a close friend group playing SRO with me about 10-15 poeple keeps me playing and we keep each other legit. We also player other games together lately such as BF 2 and World of Tanks but we keep playing sro aswell
A better question would be, is why do we feel the need to game at all?
Saying it's for the "social aspect" is a bit ridiculous, seeing as how you could have just as much fun interacting with people in real life, as you do in game. The only real difference is that games like this allow you to talk to people who aren't living in your area or country. But then again, how often do people actually ask, and care to know, about each others countries? Answer: Not often. Or at least, not to the extent that validates spending 20+ hours a week gaming with people for the "social aspect" of it all.
I lost mine. I would only EVER play silkroad again, if it had realistic level rates/sp rates. Graphics are sweet and still better than some newer games that come out, but they just fail to get the mechanics going. So the only MMORPG I've been playing is Runes of Magic. Played it for 2 months. And I'm level 53/50 out of 62/62 (dual classes) and I have time to play Halo WAY TOO MUCH still. I don't feel the need to grind.
