That is pointless. Unless you don't execute the stuff you download it will get into windows regardless.

or put your "important" stuff like passwords on an external encrypted HDD or store it online in a cloud or something.

Then every day you run crapcleaner and delete your browsing history/cookies/stored passwords/etc.

Oh and make sure you only access sites that don't send passwords in cookies/cleartext, etc.

Facebook loggs those things everytime someone uses your account from a location that is not close to your own. SO I got that from there, but for all I know he was using a proxy.
The mods did get the IP he was using on here though as well and that points to another place so either two different people took passwords or he was using proxys.
