There'll be a PVP tournament hosted by PornFlakes at the weekend of the 7th&8th of May! It'll have place in the afternoon-evening-night GMT!




Prizes:
.First spots in each lvl category
.Fastest KO and longest survival in each lvl category
.First place in the losers FFA


Requisitions:
.Be lvl 60+ (if you're not playing with PornFlakes on ZSZC water server atm, you can always make a character and try to join us because you can get lvl 60+ easily in two days. Beware tho, we only have COUPLE spots on the guild since we're all very active, so whatever you wanna do, do it fast!)
.Have money to buy their own pots and their correspondant gear
.Be in teamspeak while the tournament takes place
.Pay an entrance fee (5th category = 2m | 4th category = 5m | 3rd category = 8m | 2nd category = 12m | 1st category = 17m)


Categories:
.5th category, Lvl 60-68 -> Seventh Degree NPC gear
.4nd category, Lvl 69-80 -> Eighth Degree NPC gear
.3rd category, Lvl 81-91 -> Nineth Degree NPC gear
.2nd category, Lvl 92-100 -> First tier Tenth Degree +0 gear
.1st category, Lvl 101-105 -> Eleventh Degree +0 gear


Conditions (depending on how many players a category has):
.Players fight each other with the gear that was attributed to them.
.Phase I
The first phase will be the Groups Stage, the ammount of people in each group will be determined by how many people exist in a category.
Groups will always have more than 2 people, and it's the 2 players with the most points that go to the next phase.
To win points you need to win fights against players
Fights consist in a group of 5 "Pvps" with another player.
The players with the less points in this group stage will go into the "who's the winner of the losers" phase, wich will consist in 10 FFA rounds.
The one who wins the most rounds gets the title and one smaller prize, if there's any tie the players pvp among themselves always in a FFA mode.
.Phase II
The second phase will be the elimination, 1vs1 elimination having rounds consisting of 5 pvps between 2 players.
The first places of a group will be fighting the second places in the first round, after that it's free.
The players that fight the last 2 rounds will correspond to the first 4 places of a category.
There'll be 2 finals, the one to decide the 1st and 2nd place and another one to decide the 3th and 4th place.
*if there aren't enough players in a category to have a decent Phase I the category will go right away to Phase II


Titles/Grant Names:
.There's a possibility that everybody who joins the tournament ends up getting a special grant name relative to their position in the tournament, so stay tuned!


Rules:
.Whoever gets into a nasty argument will get kicked immediatly, no name calling. However, arguing politely is allowed.
.If you lag, that's your problem. If the server lags, we will re-start.
.No vigors allowed.
.The pots will be X-Large.
.Players start the pvp at a command given by someone outside the pvp.
.Players start the pvp some meters away from each other.
.You can't res yourself after you're dead in FFA's.
.You lose the pvp when you die in 1vs1.

PS: There'll be a training session around night time GMT on Wednesday, so be around.
PS2: Some modifications to this tournament might take place if something unpredictable happens so please, check this thread daily.
PS3: The groups will be done at the time the tournament starts so there's no risk of it failing because people suddenly had other things to do.

This all sounds really awesome! The rules and the way the tournament is held is a bit confusing, but that's probably due to it's complexity. That's not a negative thing though I'm sure it will be a lot of fun! I can't hardly wait for it

Yeah, npc just won't work for INT's. Totally unfair conditions if I may say, checked yesterday... even Amarisa killed me (being 8 levels lower) if given enough time, crit and no snow. And Osiris one shotted me with his 90 glavie.

Dunno, just saying... if your INT you'll get raped in NPC no matter what your build is or if your FF (additionally, there is no 10d npc, so what do you plan on doing for that?).

the int's will always fight with snowshield


about 10d, it's supposed to be all +0 without being FB, if such can't be done, u'll fight with 9d npc gear as well

1. I didn't need crits. Just sse and ghost without you blocking was enough.

2. You used snow once. That is a major advantage to INTs over str. You do 10k dmg to me with 1 move. With snow I do shit dmg. Do the math. Even if I was 89 and better gear it's still a big advantage.

Given the current rules, ints have the greatest advantage in this competition and are the most likely char builds to win. This is a fact and I hope you can see it before others do, taking away your advantage to win. Stay focused and keep a cool head.

It seems clarification from contest organizer is needed for 10d and 11d equipments, as logically only drops could be used. There should be a guideline on the equips. Enchantments can be zero-ed, but blues cant.

Hint for everyone: bring the appropriate clothing that fits the occasion.

people have been saying they're alredy confused, i won't put in more details

about 10d and 11d gear, it's pretty much obvious that you can only used dropped gear without +'s or blues added. Players will have to show their gear to me before they pvp too.
If a 10d player doesnt have 10 d gear, it'll be with 9th and so ford, nothing complicated here, so don't worry :p
