Re: What does your desktop look like?(3)
Long overdue update. Not feeling very creative though.
Spoiler!
Re: What does your desktop look like?(3)
Basicly the same as the old one but with 1 major differance. The area on the right is actually another computer running vista. They are configured with Input Director so I can control both with 1 mouse and keyboard. I also have it set up so all sound will go into the line in port on my main pc so it kinda is acting like 1 whole pc.
Spoiler!

Probably my last screen in Snow Leopard till I switch to Lion.
@fena Thanks, it's called Icelands by photographer Kim Høltermand. Big fan of his work.

@jaksje Yep, it's a Mac. No more Bootcamp though.

Hey, thanks for the source! I checked out Høltermand's website, and he really does have some great stuff. I just wish that his work was more readily available for download, although I can understand why he doesn't include hi-res images on his public website.
Speaking of Lion, WWDC yesterday looked pretty interesting, if not a slight letdown. I'm glad to hear that Lion is arriving in just a month's time, though. Some of the features look pretty interesting, and I can't wait to dig into the final release. I wonder how the functionality of the physical Expose and Dashboard buttons on a Mac keyboard will change if they combine the two features into a single overview.

No problem.
I'm actually on Lion right now, using Developer Preview 4. I've been testing it for a few months and this new release has been the most usable for me. The only downside I see is that traditional mice won't be as useful on Macs anymore since touch gestures play such a huge role. Maybe some new keyboard triggers could fix that in the future. I'm using a Magic Trackpad so that's not an issue for me. The default Mission Control trigger is set as 'Four-Finger Swipe Up', which was my own BetterTouchTool setting on SL for Exposé, so that wasn't a problem. I'm not a fan of the Dashboard or Widgets in general so my Dashboard space just stays there in default mode lol. There's a ton of new things that I really like and a lot of fixes for bugs in Snow Leopard included as well. I just hope customizing it won't be too troublesome.

quick question, what theme for w7 are u using? and is that actually w7?
the thing i dislike about my standard theme right now is the boxes around appications when they are open.... if there is a way to remove this, can you tell me how?
if not id rather replace it with something not so... "bubble-like"
ty in advance
