More countries now IP limited

PK2 editing is allowed on this forum.
Most PK2 edits are just cosmetic changes.
Like changing hp/mp bars, underbars, change 1d -> 10d weaps or w/e.
They are all only visible to u & don't give u any advantage towards other players.

Using the pk2 edit which allows u to view stealthed/invisi players is bannable on this forum.
If someone records u attacking invisi/stealthed players and they report u; u can/will get banned from sro too. It happened in the past (when they hired the first new GM's).

Changing the size of uniques: makes it easy to select the unique, but gives u a small advantage.
(Although most bots have an option to auto-select uniques >.>)
Don't know if this one is allowed, last time there was a small discussion about it; but there was no real position taken about it.

Never thought about it as a bug but it was working last unique event , doesn't seem likely that they removed it and it has been here from years till now .

if your not at the spawn of yarkan or lower, then they will be dead when you get there...

They don't need Goldbots to collect gold for them , They can make characters and put 100 Billion on them and start selling less than any goldbot company .

If the goldbot companies tell people they have an agreement with Joymax, they leave themselves open a legal ass kicking. Joymax continues to claim they are against gold buying and botting - maintaining a good moral image - while secretly being involved with the goldbots.

They get profit. Joymax looks the other way, while they bot as many clients as they want, and then they give Joymax a cut of their profits.

Let's say for example it's $30 for 1 Billion and a gold company can make 2 Billion per day per server. That's a LOT of gold, and a lot of profit for both parties.

Even if they really had non-disclosure agreements what would be the point of the goldbots. they could have easily setup another company themselves and sell the gold that way without goldbots. its pretty pointless and less profitable to actually cooperate with another company to make something you could very easily do yourself.

also if you're going to make the "they want to fill servers up" argument. why wouldn't they just lower the cap slots? see still no need for goldbots.

pretty clear reason goldbots are still here is because joymax is too lazy and greedy to spend anything on protecting their own game. not because they have some secret pact with other companies on something they could do themselves with half the hassle and cost.

IP limits are gone again, at least for most countries. From what I understand, USA and England are limited to 2 clients, while much of Europe is limited to 5, while Turkey and Egypt seem to have no limitation.

Oh, and as a result of this, traffic is back.
