What do you think about Windows 7?

It's generally good. it's a strange transition from XP to W7. One thing I don't like is that certain options have become harder to access and that when you try to move files between folders, the folder your mouse is on doesn't move to the front -__-.
the general way of handling things has improved though. I also really like that button the right side of the taskbar to show the desktop.

Well, I've heard that Windows 7 is slow and quite unstable. I don't want such a thing!

it's quite fast, and stable. I haven't noticed anything in particular that is not hardware related.
and it's still better than vista in every way. It requires less resources afaik.

Windows 7 to me feels like Vista. Maybe less resources but I don't really care. 3Ghz quad core and 4GB RAM (the other 4 went to my new server pc and yes a quad core too.)

I spent 8 months on Vista didn't have a single issue. When I could get Windows 7 pro for $23 for being a student I jumped for it. To be honest I don't really see much difference between the two.

Though XP to Vista/7 is a major leap though. A lot of things have moved and such.

If I had to make a choice between the 3 I would pick 7 but only because it's newer and will get most of the attention of Microsoft.
