What a shame. Reminds me of that one line from Religulous "faith makes a virtue out of not thinking." I guess it really does. I'm not really crazy about Bill Maher but that statement does sum up a huge portion of what religion is really all about. Although I understand its purpose in the light of human interest, whether for yourself or for another person's agenda.

There's no way that I, or anyone else in here, can change your opinion about this. You stated that you don't approve of same-sex marriage but it's okay (or you just don't care) if they do it; what I want to know is if you had to place your vote on whether or not to allow gay marriage to be legalized, would you vote for or against it? Keep in mind that this is simply to be legally married. No religious institutions involved - no one will be forced to open up their church doors for the ceremony.

I said I'd feel uncomfortable and I actually said that banning or allowing guns won't affect someone's decision if they feel like going on a rampage. Even if I did, you're comparing carrying a gun around to gay marriage? Wow.
