February 6th Piece

Really nice bro.
I particularly like the blue c4d, but the red one bothers me a bit. It seems a bit thrown in, especially the part on the far right.
And add some lighting to the focal, correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you didn't modify the focal at all in regard to the lighting of the piece. Makes it look a bit flat.

Haven't seen the whole "smudged focal" thing in a loooong time, works really well here.
The size also really adds to the quality, which makes it so much better.

Cool piece, looking forward to the rest.

Spoiler!

Don't like the open ' skin' in the middle part of her body. It's ok on the original but now it just looks weird.

im sorry, but i really think this is dissapointing to the first you that you had, the first one was well thought etc. this one seems like you just used a tut for lightening, which you flapped on a random image.
Next up --> making a ps when winning a game of LoL ;) lol :)

it's a lot more complicated than how you just put it

and lul, I haven't looked at a tut in years

check out all the differences with lighting and so on between my piece and the original and then tell me I just slapped lightning on a random image

I never comment on people's artwork because I am not a pro nor do I know how hard it is to make these edits, but wow im disappointed with the cyan blue lines next to the lightning strike, seems like I could to that on paint... :(

What went wrong?

Nothing is wrong. I like it that way.

innerthought; wow its offensive when someone tells you your piece is 'wrong'

With just the lightning strike it looks lame and generic

Sure anyways I give up, I have no say in this anymore, not good enough to say jibberish about ps and what you should have done or not done...

First work was really good btw

Simple but has a decent result. As Shomari would say "FK TEXT".

I like what you did with the colors...it's a dramatic change in the mood and if dark is what you're aiming for, then you really hit the spot. But I'm really not feeling the smudgy-looking (fat) lightning and the random green lines. Also, the lightning covering a relatively huge portion of the bridge is bothering me. If it was my piece and I were to revisit it, I would definitely consider making the width of the lightning slightly more unequal and jagged - especially at the ends. And also lose the random lines. That's just my 2 cents on this one though.
