The D&B/Dubstep and Jungle Thread

Post by [SD]Master_Wong »

Ok This is mainly due to getting fed up of having to go though trace and techno to find the odd song i like, that and i noticed keyj just likes to link that one thread when ever someone makes a topic about music

so here i present fellow lovers of either d&b or dubstep there very own home.

I made a thread not to long ago showing my love for liquid d&b

Spoiler!

I didn't mean to be an ass when i posted that link,

Personally i don't consider the thread "Techno/Trance" anymore, but more electronic music.

If master of puppets would, i would get him to change it to: Electronic Music lovers this is for you!! Haters gtfo :)

It's partly the inner Admin in me, having multiple threads about the same topic really which is being fulfilled in a previous thread is a little frustrating.

But i mean, hey i don't get to make the decisions here anymore, i can only advise. If the mods and RuYi feel that it's fine, and these are two different enough topics to deserve personal threads, i'll be all for it.

anime/manga sure makes sense but music is a lot more specific and peoples tastes vastly vary, to me this covers a large enough market as it is, considering jungle can be quite dirty while liquid is clean and calmer

i never said you where an ass btw you assumed that

I'm not really a big fan of electronic music, honestly I think everything sounds the same. But DnB is a exception, I listen to it rarely but the few times I do, I find it really relaxing.

Had a song in mind but cant remember the name of it, had it on my pc before my harddrives burned, posting later when I find it.

Because apparently we need three threads for dubstep, I'll just post this link in all of them.

well i figure insted of 2 other threads one which will die off fairly quickly and another for a whole different genre of music having one dedicated to dub and d&b will make sense

I'm going to disagree for the simple fact that "techno" covers all variation/genres of electronic dance music.

and not all d&b is electronic syn based music so then what? make a thread just for that, i made it as i felt it was worth while otherwise i wouldnt have bothered. if im after dnb i dont look in a techno thread nor do i want to sift though it to find what i like im sure there are others who share a similar sentiment

Understandable, but if that were the case we could have threads going for dubstep, drum and bass, trance, hardcore, electro, house, vocal trance, hard style, electro house, liquid drum and bass, etc.

I wouldn't mind. I listen to all of it pretty much. Plus post counts would soar posting in 10+ threads which I guess is also cool.

well no you can prolly split all that into 3 main groups if you wanted

hardcore/hard house/funky house sort of stuff in 1
your trance and such in another
and this

as that covers most of it unless you like the pop club dance shit but honestly that isnt worths the bits its typed in to make a thread just for that

also i dont think all that many people care about post counts these days some do yeh but they stand out

But hardstyle and hardcore are two completely different styles. Just like hardcore and house is.

I guess from the looks of it, these two other threads won't last like the other one did. I'll continue posting dubstep in the techno/trance thread.
