Chinese immune to ice @ cap?

Hey hey, I was just wondering if Chinese chars are also immune (getting resist all the time) to ice at cap? And if, do they need to have fire shield or only good accs? And all cleric builds are totally immune to ice IIRC?

you need 20% on each acc and then 20 resist on fireshield(not sure what level that is)

Btw, if my Cold Wave skills is higher lvl then my enemies Holw Word stuff, will he still be immune?

Hehe yeah, they also look pretty cool. Shame I never had the sp to properly lvl them :[

Anyways, Chinese need fire shield to be immune, otherwise it's only 80% immunity. I'm not sure about holy word/spell though, I think if they only have holy word up till like lvl 8 stats and you do a lvl 9 stat on them they can get it but for a shortened period. But if they also have accessory with resistance on them there's a chance they are totally immune.

Ice or any skill that is status affecting should never be rendered useless by 100% inmmunity. 90% maybe but never 100%. It's just retarded the way joymax has it.

I've noticed that high lvl ice goes through low lvl holy spell. Also a lot of idiots assume holy spell = full immunity, but that's not true, specially to chinese imbues as long as it's higher lvl than the holy spell. I go ice punching on stupid 110 clerics sometimes and watch them wonder why they keep getting frozen.

Word. Getting from 1-110 does take a while ^^ And Cold Wave/Frost Nova is great for fighting mobs, which you will do alot from 1-110

And btw, no chinese can be immune to ice below lvl 68

Not entirely sure but I think you can be immune before that. I think a friend farmed at nachal with 9gap and was immune.

You can be immune while farming at nachals. I was immune to zombie and shock.

Doesn't the max resistance to stats get increased too? If that's the case you won't be able to be immune at lower lvl's with 11 fire =p But I'm not sure if every degree has 20% reduce per accessory piece.

Well, it's more like that. With holy word/spell you are almost immune already. If you have at least some pimped acc's you'll be completely immune quite easily. I remember that my warlock/cleric was completely immune to shock from Wing Tribe Chasers lv.85/87 with lv.70 mastery.

Afaik, the holy word works completely different than the fire shield series. The fire shield series works similar to the acc's. It just removes a certain part of the status. If you remove 100% in total, you'll be immune.

The Holy word reduces the status effect by a certain ammount. For example Holy Word Lv.5 reduces 128 Effect points from each status. First the acc's will remove a certain part of the status. After that the Holy Word will take away a certain effect value from the remaining ammount. It's not that hard to get immune, even against monsters, which are a lot higher. With lv.64 Holy Word i got immune against Lv.8X status effects.
