I've seen a few stories that say its real and some that say that it is just an exxageration.

I'm a Windows User but I know what Jobs and his colleagues at Apple have done for the world. If it is true that he is terminally ill I wish him the best =/.

Personal computers wouldn't have been what they are if it was for Jobs/gates/intel/IBM, you someone who praises computers should know that.

I'm almost positive this is BS since it was the National Enquirer (read; tabloid) that began the story. The Jobs' family is really private on these matters so any statement from outside sources is usually just baseless speculation. The medical statements in the article are doctors not connected to Jobs in any way. Thoughts go to the family in the event that this is true though.

Also, no need to act sanctimonious. Different people have different opinions of the man, and that's fair. He isn't an upstanding role model by a large margin, but to turn a blind eye to all the important technological advances he's been a visionary of is just ignorance. To be fair with Gaige, he's from Ohio, and there is nothing to do there except masturbate and cry, and those two aren't always mutually exclusive, so the attitude is to be expected.
