New Player: Nuker Questions

Post by ginny »

I need some starting help, please! :)

1. As I level, what exactly should I be putting points into? Each time I get stat points, I put them into INT, but what about skill points? If someone could give me a rough outline of what to spend the point on masteries/skills through the early levels, I would appreciate it. Details please! I am really lost.

If it is a good idea, my plan is to go Fire as the main mastery and lightning as the sub mastery. And to use spear in pve and sword/shield in pvp. This is from what I have been reading, but I am not sure if that is right.

2. What are the advantages/disadvantages to the different female characters you can choose at creation? Or is there no difference?

3. Which clothes are best for Nukers? Just Armor? Garment?

4. And most important! Is there any way to change your character's hairstyle? :)

1. What you have been reading is right
2. No difference
3. Wear garment at low levels, can run fast, use less mp pots, use protector when you focus more on pvp at higher levels.
4. No.

Thank you for the reply. I still do not know how to spend skill/mastery points though :)

And I started with Armor, how do I change to garment? Just sell the armor to an NPC and buy a garment?

To switch to garms, just take off all your armor. Then you can put on garms.
I'm in your posts, stealing your quotes.

Heuksal Mastery is level 0, but it has a Level Up button by it.

Fire Mastery and Lightning Mastery are the same (Level 0, with Level Up button).

I have some skill points to spend but have no idea which to put them into. And after picking a mastery to level up, which skills are nice to start with for a nuker?

Thank you.

I did, thank you. And I am still confused. It just puts numbers by the masteries, mainly. Which does not really give me an idea how to start.

From 1 to 10 what should you be working on? Spread masteries around? Which skills are nice for leveling?

I really do not know how to begin without messing up too bad. Thank you.

EDIT: I am almost level 10 and have not spent a single mastery/skill point. I was hoping to benefit from the experience of the people in this forum without having to experiment and waste points.

oh yeah, i am also having problem in using the armor/garment/protector...

I am now lvl 25(int build) and i am using garment as my outfit... but, i found that it's very hurtful when i get damaged by hyuangno ghost(140 -170 damage)

I am planning to use armour as my outfit, and here's my question, is there any big differences in taking monsters' damage by using garment and armour? Besides, my speed will be decreased and i've to use more MP for every skills right?

which 1 is better? garment or armour???

Garment is what I used 1 - 62ish.
Spear or sword shield, with light until you can afford fire nuke / imbue
