I've been playing Silkroad for almost 5 years now, I quit for a couple of months and just reinstalled the new client to checkout the new update and I just get major lag all the time, my connection if perfect and I lag with no other games, computer specs are way above silkroad.
Any ideas?

Just logged on forums to ask the same thing.. I'm getting some really horrible game lag. It's not connection lag
I've decided that what Joymax mean by "min requirements" is actually if you can even get logged into the game, not enjoy a playable game.
If you can start the game up then you have passed the min requirements.
Although you mentioned you used to be able to.. so I don't know, just thought I'd let you know your not alone
I will make my own thread however, as not to 'hijack' yours.. Good luck
