Uhh not much really

SSH is a way to securely share info between 2 things (ex computer and server)
uhh he mentioned VNC which basically lets you use a computer from somewhere else over a network
browser cookie files..well I'm sure you've heard of cookies and a quick google can tell you where to find them and how to dissect them.

he mentions some other stuff, keylogging etc
I know about all of these just from random research or use (i had to SSH to something while at my university because they blocked other methods of accessing)

but I guess if you went into some computer/networking related education you'd learn about all of this eventually.
