wrex is your ultra tank, and he can walk off any damage he takes and the krogan charge attack
is amazing for clearing a room.

Ah, well I'll stick to my own choices =p But that's probably cuz I was a soldier, I can see it being usefull if you're a biotic or something.

One question:
So i am nearly through the first game (alteast i guess the upcoming battle will be the final boss)
And on this playthrough i was playing as the kind soldier who helps almost everyone.
Cause i got some time left till i get ME2 i wanna play on my second playthrough as an complete asshole.
Does that mean ME2 will be using the asshole character or the good one? (I'm guess the asshole)

I haven't tried it myself but I'm pretty sure you can choose a saved game from ME1 to link with ME2 o.O Not 100% sure though.

as far as ME2 went, final mission i lost quite a bit of people the assassin guy, jack, grunt(i cried) makes me wonder what me3 will be like as far as continuing the storyline with different characters since in me2 the ending was so dynamic.

all this talk makes me want to do a second run through.

I didnt lose any one at the end of ME2...took me about 20+ tries to get it right though ...lol so my ME3 save
should be perfect

Just finished ME2, was a hell of a ride.
Like an awesome movie but reaching the timespan of almost 30 hours.
Everything was done in perfection, from the storyline and backstory of the characters/races to voice acting and compositing of the cutscenes.
Guess i got a new all time favourite game.

mine was Legion in the pipes, Garrus leading team, Samara protecting from seekers, Thane protecting the useless crew, Garrus 2nd team again and the final was... Mirrand and Dr Solus.

I think it will come back to bite us for not destroying the facility. And saving the council WILL have some sort of affect.

Though I thought Captain Anderson was betrayed in the game, he hardly got a role in ME2

not going to go back and save everyone, want to just see how it works out with my first runthrough as far as ME3 is concerned. i don't remember all of my picks since i did it a while ago but i remember i lost the assassin guy because i sent him in the pipes at the start

i think i sent the dr back to the ship, i had garrus lead the first team and he survived that but jack died when i picked her to lead the second one or the defense, whatever it was. the wrex-like guy got picked up at the end of that forcefield part. and i cried. 3 casualties in total.

Finished ME2 last weekend, and I fucking love this franchise. Best game ever! Wish I knew this was so awesome a long time ago, on the other hand now I could play 1 and 2 after eachother instead of having to wait for 2 xD Now I'm waiting for 3 though, bring it already dammit!

After I finished the game I was still in the ME mood so I bought some points and got the kasumi and shadow broker DLC, both are fcking epic! Finished my 2nd ME1 run though with a half/half but more renegade guy (it's hard for me to be renegade >.<), gonna continue him in ME2 sometime today or tomorrow or what ever. Got a free week so wewt.

As for the first run, at first I put Legion in the pipes and samara as head of the fire team. We made it to the first doors and shit but while Legion was closing it he got a headshot from a rocket >.> So I had to reload it cuz I wanted to save everyone (paragon and an achievement =p). This time I went with Tali in the pipes, Garrus as fire team leader, Samara to protect me, Solus (the doctor guy) back with the crew) and Garrus again for the 2nd team. Took Samara and Grunt with me to the final stage. Blew up the facility, going to save it on my renegade though.

Also it's Kaiden IIRC.

ME series totally took Halo from my personal first place. I love Halo but all these options, dialogues etc in ME are just too nice. Especially the fact it continues in later games with the choices you made in the first one. You hardly see that :3

Bioware gets Tease of the Decade Award for making Tali a romancible option, and still not showing what Quarians look like under that damned helmet... I chose her first just to find out what Quarians look like, and when Shepard takes her helmet off, the camera is at an angle that hides her face... Made me want to rage...

Haha yeah, well at the end in ME1 I could see a little bit through the helmet...It kinda looked like a human profile, but ofcourse I don't know about the skin color and all that shit =p I hope they'll show it in ME3 otherwise I'll rage haha. Curiousness ftl :>
