I was very disapointed when I heard the OST. I was hoping for proper Daft Punk songs... or atleast a few of them.

I love that Daft Punk strayed from their normal sound. Just shows the awesomeness and versatility of such an amazing group.

Yeah me too. Traditional Daft Punk wouldn't have made for a good movie score. Everyone is praying for Draft Punk to do the Mass Effect 3 sound track. It'll never happen but the thought melts the chocolate chips in my heart.

Grabbed the album when I got home after seeing it. In the theater it wasn't as good because of the over excessive bass..

i wasn't mind blown. I think Daft Punk is best when they're doing Daft Punk. I kept more than a few songs though but my favorite has to be
Code: Select all
followed by CLU, The Game Has Changed, and Disc Wars
signatures by Hostage Co. <3 ~P o P is DEAD ! My s T y L e is Supa-Flat !! ~

I just watched the movie today and I must say, I'd watch it again just to hear the background music.

I thought they did an amazing job - and that job was to make a film score, not a new signature album.
The story was meh but I already expected that. I just watched it with my brain off and let the audio-visual orgasm bleed my ears and eyes.
My favorite track has to be The Grid. When the first two notes hit after he says "I got in", it always gets me.

Tron is basically a $15 concert with a really well made light show - a great deal.

I haven't seen the movie yet but i listened to the soundtrack. The music quality is incredible, Daft Punk are masters. The songs are not "classical" Daft Punk songs but no doubt they will use them for remixes especially in live, and that will be awesome.
