Warrior Subclass

Post by FourTwenty »

I made a warrior on Azteca server and i can't decide on a subclass.

I'm more PvE oriented at the moment, but an all around PvE/PvP subclass would be what i'm looking for.

Just now approaching level 16 so i should probably choose a subclass soon lol.

What would you recommend and why?

Also, looking for an active English speaking guild on Azteca :) Pm me in game, my IGN is Tree.

Thanks in advance.

I'd say warlock, but solely because I'm biased since I enjoy the warlock mastery more than anything. Though, I like my cleric sub solely for group PvE / PvP (BA, CTF, FgW, FW)

Warlock would be bad against ppl with cleric sub, in pvp and wouldnt really benefit PTs, so ye, you'd rape chns tho. I also recommend cleric sub :)

Cleric sub is the better "group" orientated subclass for a warrior; can't recall how many times having cleric subbed helped back on Venus for me.

I've been thinking of going bard sub simply because we lack bards on my server. I'll probably end up as cleric due to its better group play capabilities but warrior/bard isn't SO bad. Especially if you don't plan to do any 1v1.

it sucks badly lol. In pts, someone will always have moving march, and you shouldnt be using noise, since you want mobs to attack you.

In this case, if they go Warrior / Bard, they'd be acting as either or in a 8/8 pt, not both.

warlock. warlock doesnt suck against cleric in pvp if you know how to play. DOTs + stuns + daredevil + or KD + cunning stab. advanced reflect will make anyone basically kill themselves. some dbuffs will work depending on your lvl and their lvl.

as a warlock you have 3 stuns
daze, wrathe daze, and sprint assault.

you have 3 dulls -
curse breath, dark breath, shield crush -

you have 2 bleeds -
decayed and dark decayed

get strap to make them last longer. if ur putting dbuffs, throw dusk armour on to have some extra absolute damage. once their holy word runs out, SLAP THOSE DBUFFS ON QUICK!

if u dont have heals it doesnt matter because you have vampire touch and vampire kiss, those are your heals and it makes it extremely easy to slap on a dbuff, if ur in a really tight situation, put em to sleep and sit down LOL

as a warrior warlock, i can HONESTLY say i havent lost to a warrior cleric yet. u have to know how to wep switch..

also for armour, f the robes and the LA, go heavy armour, put MP (100%) you really need FB but MP HP and INT (100%) is really the needed thing. also u dont need axes, but you do need 1h sword and 2h sword.

thats my 2 sense, hope i helped. dont be scared of warlock, they can take a cleric anyday even with the "handicap"
