Which is overall better? Wiz/Bard or Wiz/Cleric?

Wiz/Cleric by far, only thing a bard subclass would win is maybe plvl.

Depends on what you want imo.

I personally like wiz/bard over wiz/cleric.

depends what type of support class you wanna be because both can solo just fine

It really depends on which you like.

If you want to be fast and able to solo well then go with bard.
If your looking for pvp then go cleric.

Personally i would say cleric is more useful overall.

Bard gives you aggro-ignored status from Noise (only for normal mobs) and speed (mana as well, but gotta keep spamming Mana Cycle / Orbit)

Cleric gives you immunity from the majority of negative status effects, healing (Recovery Division & Healing Cycle / Orbit), and far better Defense for x amount of time (Bless and body / soul blessig & body / soul deity, though those last 2(4) won't stay if you weapon switch)

Personally, I think Cleric is better overall.

It's an pretty obvious choice. Cleric will win in solo/higher plvl/party/pvp/group pvp/jobbing/uniques. Only time bard wins is low lvl pvp (ong farming for instance). Ofcourse bards are needed in higher lvl grind parties but you'll find more parties as cleric.

It totally depends on what you want.

If you are making wizard your primary character then sub Cleric is way to go.
If you're starting on new server (or old one), and you want something you can farm
your primary character with at ongs then afterwards powerlevel it to 7x-8x, a sub Bard
is what you should choose.
